I phoned my local 'Martins' Renault dealer and they do have a 220 Trophy demonstrator, so I've got a demo/roadtest booked for 3pm on the 30th of December! I will keep you posted mate. :up:

Not much to report on since the RR day in October. The car is absolutely filthy, and is crying out for a good clean but the shitty weather hasn't really inspired me... The Meg hasn't put a foot wrong however, and after so many problems with my Impreza it's so nice just to jump in the car and...

Great result at Surrey Rolling Road! Considering the Megane (as far as I know) hasn't been mapped at least not under my ownership and since I fitted both the FMIC and de-cat it made a healthy 252bhp and 230 torque. Charlie said it was fueling very well, better than some of the mapped cars...

I've just fitted a Milltek de-cat and a Forge FMIC but without mapping I doubt they will do anything... Probably more likely to loose power! 😂 Until I get my injectors and a mapper to make the most of everything, it will have to do!

I think the tried and tested route is de-cat, exhaust, FMIC, and injectors That should see near 280bhp and 300 torque which I believe the torque has to be capped on standard internals for safety. I'm not 100% on this though and somebody may come along and correct my numbers! 😂

Update! We had a quiet day at work yesterday, so myself and one of the tech's tackled fitting the Milltek de-cat I bought. It's a lovely quick and easy job that just takes 30 mins... It's an awful awful job! [emoji30] which took many hours, and much swearing! But well worth it, the Megane...
