I would rather drive my Williams than the 172 - even though I reckon the 172 would be a touch quicker in certain situations. Completely subjective, but I would say the Williams can carry at least 5% more speed through corners than the 172. Even though my 16v was fairly quick, both the others...

I have a PDF of the Williams tech manual. I can host it if you like... I managed to bend my crank and drop a con rod in my Williams - resulting in a bottom end rebuild. Didn't do it myself though! :D

wow! The Clio is by far the best looking car there - from any angle. Quite like the wheels on the Corsa but the styling is a bit naff. Can't believe how dated the Mini looks! oh, and great colour too! ;)

Strangely enough, I had some new 205's fitted on the rear while keeping 195's on the front of my 172 on Friday. So I will tell you in a few weeks! :) This thread may be best suited to the Suspension, Brakes, Wheels and Tyres section though...

Always used super-leaded (96 / 97 RON) in my cars, but when Tesco introduced 99RON I tried that in my 172 and it seemed to make a positive difference. Only thing was, each time I filled up I got inconsistent results. Sometimes it would be good, sometimes poor. Even so, 99RON seemed to make it...
