£304?! That's silly cheap!
I am 31 with 10 years NCB and an SP30, but Direct Line quoted me about £440 on an unmodified, garaged 172.
Paying about £420 with Privilege now.
If it is being professionally litho printed, then raster images will (usually) get down-sampled to around 300dpi anyways :)
If you are using text, then it is best to use a graphics package (eg: Illustrator) or a page layout application (eg: InDesign). This will keep text as vectors and output...
heh. cool! I have ordered a ClioSport.net sticker I can be easily identified! ;)
...and I had a GTT years ago. Weird thing is, I still dream that I am driving it!
Sooooo... who's is that stripped-out R5GTT in Tesco's car park that I keep seeing? Solid white, very low with a lack of seats and a roll-cage in? ;)
Weird that I have never seen you or any other CS members around that area. That's where I do my shopping! Will keep an eye open nest time I go...
Not really a fix, but can't you press and hold the central locking button in the car so that it turns off the central locking's 'automatic lock' when pulling away...?
Bleed is the extra work (usually 3mm) added over the edge of a page so that when something is cut or trimmed, you won't get any white paper if the cut if slightly off.
For example, if your flyer has a 'finished' size of 12.5 x 20cm (125 x 200mm) then you would need to create a document 13.1 x...
Many, many thanks for this info. I have been having the same issue since last year and even bought a new resistor pack to fix it, but that did not cure the problem (Waste of £80+). Your pictures and quick-fix suggestions were spot on and I managed to do exactly as you described to sort mine out...
Great thread... :) here's some that I can think of...
Reanult Nottingham - I had snapped an off-side front spring on my Williams2 so I went to the parts department to get a replacement. When I told them what I wanted they said that the Williams can have various types of spring fitted. News to...
heh. :) I have had A539s on my Williams and 172 for years and only ever 'lost' the Williams once - and that was me trying to be clever in the damp. I've always found them great tyres - especially for high speed cornering. I even preferred them to the Yoko AVS.
Also, the tyre dealers I have...
Bizarre - my heater started playing up with the exact same symptoms earlier this week. It's very intermittent, but the fans are dead when the car is started but usually come on after 10-15 minutes.
Sounds like a fairly straightforward task to undertake myself, so thanks for the info guys. :)
Mine did it too when I had very worn pads front AND back. Once the pads had been done - and forced the pistons in to 'push' the fluid back into the reservoir - the light never came on again.
Oh and talking of brake fluid... should Renault check and top up the level on a 36k service? Because...
I wouldn't mind some recommendations on a quiet-ish, hidden exhasut too. Anyone know how loud the K-Tec stealth system is?
Love the Iceberg Silver colour BTw :)
I tried to get some Thuel roof bars from Halfords the other week for my Ph2 172 and because it's a 3 door, you need a special order fitting kit. Same with the Halfords own brand ones.
I also contacted Renault and they wanted 80-odd quid - and that was special order too! In the end I didn't...
I have been using Tesco 99RON for a few months now as the petrol station on my way into work sells it for 98.6p a litre - actually I think it's gone down a penny recently. Before that I always used 97 or 98RON such as: Esso Super / BP Ultimate / Optimax - erm - I mean V-power. I haven't used...
Has it actually been released though? :)
I need an upgrade too. Had my Samsung D900 a year and it's been flawles. Surprised me how good a phone it has been considering I usually have SonyEricsson handsets.
Torn between the G600 and the K850i. Think the Samsung might just win as I like...
