Do you find your CS is hyper sensitive to camber? On a normal road, if I let go of the steering wheel I would hit the curb within 100-150 feet!!!!!!
To stop a load of questions being asked, I had my tracking checked recently and my tyres are correctly inflated and the car feels fine but I...
FLOL. It's the steel wheels that really set the car off along with the great expanse of nothing behind the front bumper.
Someone probably thinks that's tasty :slap:
This ^^^^^^^
I have owned both and they are both great cars. My 2 pence worth is this; the CTR and 197 will be of a similar age but the EP3 is at the end of its life whereas the 197 is the beginning of the Mk3 clio. Rareity is guarenteed with the 197 and that is worth a lot (not necessarily...
Off my road is a house that could use a little tlc. On the drive are 2 cars that spend 95% of their lives under tatty covers and are driven by a bloke that looks at least 60.
Under one cover is the best grey R5 GTT you will see with small tasteful mods. Under the other cover is a Mk1 Clio turbo...
Does everyone spend all day on the race track or drive on roads like they were race tracks (cue the CS police)? No. Then who is going to notice the difference anyway.
I haven't driven the 200 but expect it to be better just as it is an evolution of the 197. I haven't reached the limits of the...
My 197 has a sweet gearbox and is a 56 plate with the original ratios. ALL 197's ARE GOOD. Don't be swayed by the cup pack until you have driven both. Yes the Cup is more dynamic but if you manage to find the difference on the road, then you is way beyond the speed/safe limit. Being the old fart...
Feel sorry for the OP but what do expect posting this on here . We were all kids once, some a bit more stupid than others......
On the plus side, this has made for some great lunchtime reading :D
Even seeing the money in your bank account is not enough. You must be able to move the money as well. Banks tell you the money is in your account before the funds are fully cleared.
Just renewed my insurance. Wife had 2 non fault claims last year (1 was in a car park and she wasn't even in the car) and I can't protect my no claims because of it so she is off the policy. Had a long chat with the insurance company and in the old days, non fault claims were ignored but now...
Sorry if this is in the wrong place but can't see a section dedicated to insurance.
Renewal time. Been on confused etc. Any specialists out there?
Thanks
Had mine about 16 months now and it is a fantastic car. Only advice is that you get the front brakes stripped and serviced regularly as if the callipers seize it can be expensive to fix. Enjoy :approve:
