Fair enough. I think that 99% of members couldn't extract the extra handling that the 200 has over a 197 especially on the road. Also, mags always compare the 200 cup but the standard 200 is softer than a standard 197. Have you driven both?

The price is a total joke but the car looks much more impressive in the flesh than in a picture. My preferrence would be to change the red leather for black. 200 looks very nice now. Suppose we all get used to it after a while

Good choice The brakes should feel like throwing an anchor out the window. When I bought my 197 the brakes were also poor and the problem was seized calipers. You need to get your calipers stripped asap and serviced. New callipers very expensive. The bill for new callipers and pads on my car...

Yeah, this would be a real shame. A big NA engine really sets the Clio (and the CTR) apart in driver enjoyment from other hot hatches.

The Bora will be a better baby carrying car without question (my last car was a Bora and was pefect for the role) but a 197/200 will also be fine. I have 4 and 8 year old kids who love my 197 but they can get in the back themselves. I would get a 5 door hot hatch if I was you. Not quite as good...

Mine kangeroos too. Never lasts more than a minute. Nothing to worry about really. Some people say turning off the traction control stops it. It does make it better but I drive like a granny for the first couple of miles anyway as the engine is cold.
