hasnt been in a front end bump at any time has it? just thinking that if it has, it may have moved the subframe resulting in the suspension legs being moved which could result in them not sitting properly.
like said cup only as your speedo runs through your box where as on normal 172`s the speedo runs off the abs. so no speedo on the box which would stop yours working

+1, you dont need to flat it with some sand paper, you can just key it with some scotchbrite. as long as its not shiney then the paint will stick. of course if you cant get any scotchbright then you will have to sand it with a high grade paper
i think you can mate. you can use one of them rs tuners so i would have thought you could use a fault code reader too, as long as it has the facility to do it.
ive mintex on mine mate and have my wheels painted white and clean up quite easily. as long as you give them a bloody good few coats of wax to seal them in before fitting them, i would think you should be fine. mine are painted though, not powder coated.
went out in a for a quick drive in a mates c2 gt and he was saying "its quite fast aint it " and was sayg yeah its quite nippy. then when we got back i said to him "do you fancy a blast in mine. his face was pricless when i opened it up a bit lol.
