doesnt the speedo work off the abs on the 172`s?

ive noticed that somtimes when i open it up a lttle as i change from 3rd to 4th or 4th to 5th, the speedo needle will jump up about 20 or 30 mph in a split second then drop back down to where it should be. any ideas on what thats all about? as i know the throttle responce aint that good lol.

ended up getting this for my birthday and havent been able to drag my self away from it since lol. you can also play a 2 plaer with this too, just need another turntable.

not really, bit of a pain in the arse to get the wires to them as they are on the car and not the lid so need threading down the edge of the boot to them but if you can get some welding wire then push it through where the wire needs to go, tape the wire to the welding wire then pull it back...

they aint the best cars for drag to be honest. they tend to bog down at launch and the fly by wire dont help either but i have seen clios doing mid 14`s, just not standard ones. they all seem to be thottleboddied.

thats quite a good time for the clios i think. i saw a blue 182 there and the best he got was a 16.0 that i saw. if you think about it, the tunned up rx7`s and the skylines are doing 12`s and 13`s and look at the power difference between them and us. my mate ran his punto gt which is stripped...

iv got a silensed decat and my lamba goes into the side of it where the fluffy stuff is in the box, that way it gets a reading but not the same as the other one which stops the light coming on. if you want a pic there is one in here somewhere...

got a kind of grinding noise comming from the passenger side front wheel but it only does it when turning right with quite a bit of lock on the wheel and going 30mph or over. am i right in thinking this is the cv joint?

ive never actually seen a petrol blue one, anyone got any pics.

they are on pins but the body shop will have special tools that can bend the hinges back to the original position without distroying anything or losing any strength. may also be that the door its self need slightly tweeking to meet the bodywork.
