The DASH2 output is serial on conn 2, you then run a connector from the serial output to the ECU which also doubles as a terminator. It's not a big deal really as the wiring is nice and tidy, but I can see what you are suggesting :) It will be fine. Firstly the rad will be a lot lower than...

This feels odd as usually I'm working hard to explain too people why stock bits and bobs are up to the job! lol

The problem is thus. EC1 control and loom - no stock stuff left at all. Making all that work with the stock dash, controls, adding extra dials for this and that = cost and ball ache. Why not do it properly first time round? Truth be told the dash 2 is actually a buget screen that is well suited...
