Had a pair on my 106 and i'll be getting a pair on the 306. They are simply unmatched in the snow. Anyone who claims otherwise hasn't had a pair on their car in the snow and are probably too proud to say they got stuck on their useless summer tyres last time it snowed.
Re: 'Sir_Dave's Caged, Cleaned & Toyed-with Shed Trophy Paedo Wagon
My invoice is in the post. I take cash, cheque and bottles of ale.....no lager pish.
It's on every Tuesday 9-10pm.
It's at Spellthorne leisure centre, Staines.
If you want to join us for the next 10 weeks it will be £36 upfront from this coming week.
A little cynical maybe. Obviously the machinery was awesome but obviously the deaths were not.
Its an age thing. I think most of the young un's on here would love to see these types of cars back in action because they make LOUD NOISES are bodykitted (yo) and go very fast......
Those who know...
The best days of the WRC are unfortunately long gone. My dad used to be involved with the 205 T16 service crews back in the 80's. If he were still around today he'd be so disappointed at the way it is today.
Best rallies to see these days are the historic ones.
I <3 Group B.
Underhand, misleading, money grabbing. All words ive heard used to describe the way they operate. Most of them came from my old man....all pretty much bang on the money as well.
He was a senior engineer for Direct Line/RBS so was well placed to know how they work and i must say, he wasn't far...
It has been 'de-evolved'.
Its a relief that Dave has reverted back to standard pads.......any more sediment build up on that paint and it could be called a crust.
Unless im mistaken, this car has been cleaned 4 times in the year or so Dave has owned it.....3 times by me.
It doesn't look 'awful' but it doesn't look quite right at that height.
To pull off white wheels usually needs the car to be lowered IMO. Will looks quite good once thats done.
The standard pads aren't that bad.....although anything compared to the RC5's is poor really. They are just monstrous.
I actually prefer seeing the little battler de-modified and used rather than stripped and hibernated.
And should I foil your 'man maths' theory by letting on that it was...
We aren't next week as Dave fell asleep at midnight when he was meant to be booking the pitch.....meanwhile the 'rival tribe' snuck in and booked it.
Sleepy Dave was sleepy. Fail. ;)
I must say thats a hugely impressive figure and must be interesting to drive....or should i say 'hang on'.
My only fear is that at some point, maybe tomorrow, maybe next year, with this much power, something will go pop.
LOL! I won't tell the masses that you were actually on the verge of buying reps......oh whoops! ;)
I take it you've bought from somebody who "knows" someone handy with a jack, a locking nut master key and stack of bricks in their van......because i know you'd never be mad enough to buy a...
At least that will wash off. You'd be royally fooked off if that had been baked on RC6 pad dust......that stuff ruins white 2118's....i know, i've done it!
