    I got my renewal through from Quinn Direct a few weeks back which said I had 1 years NCB and so on. I moved to Tesco to insure the 197 which went great however they asked for proof of a NCB so I sent them my renewal and haven't heard back from them. Quinn Direct sent me out a No Claims discount...

    anyone noticed how quite these are opened my door and it went off for a few seconds then beeped 3 times as it disabled? wasn't very loud does it get louder the more its "on" ?

    197 brake fade??

    anyone else get this? was going 70mph on the motorway and someone pulled in on front of me having to slow down quite a bit only the brakes didnt seem to brake that hard - only when i dropped to 3rd did the brakes "bite" could this be the brakes just need to wear in??

    yeah it was on but the doors where closed? maybe a door wasn't closed properly think it went off when I drove thought didn't noticed as I was too busy watching the needle climb the rev range :p

    anyone know how to set the cruise control on these? was out for a quick test drive and couldn't work it out.. getting it on Wednesday.. just wanted a bit of info! also does the car stay red between the rev counter and the speedo? if not what causes this? cheers!

    197 Cup spoiler mounting points?

    does anyone have a picture of this? is this just glued on or is there 2 mounting points on each side? the 197 I bought has mounting points and it looks like where the cup spoiler would attach.. obviously I want to replace the spoiler with whatever used to be there.

    haha to be honest mate.. it NEEDED to be an R27 F1 as the insurance was £1000 cheaper than a standard 197.. I phoned several insurance companies and asked if this was right that the F1 was over £1000 cheaper and they said yes and they would honour it.. just hope its like that next year too :p

    DNP182 thats where I got it! :) still there if you drive past the cars out the back of Sere sittin at the right in the front "line" of cars
