b*llocks!
Just rang up, i had to quote for clio 172 because 182 wasnt online. Got quote for 182 and its £790 !?!? Why is this any different from 172 ?!??!
Asked about the 14 for 12 month policy and they told me its more expensive because it a different type of 12 month policy. - About £900...
How hard would it be for them to do a survey though. I would be happy to spend some time filling in a form if it meant that they listen to customers issues and make a real effort to sorting them out. Would make a great car even better!
If anything they are probably trying to cash in quick on the back of the success of the 172/182/cups before the new model is released.
I personally think they should spend time looking at all the issues with the models above and get that right before the new model comes out. They work a bit...

im 28, 10 years no claims, but live in bolton which is the highest risk area you can get.
last year i paid 800 and trust me that was the BEST PRICE anywhere.
Just got a few quotes (confused.com, direct line etc...) and best quote i have had from around 20...
Next reno i buy will be 12 months old, 12k miles and hopefully all the teething problems sorted. Never a brand new one again.
Save a packet on depreciation aswell !
Do a search mate, there are plenty of threads on it. I hit a pothole at about 20 mph when mine came on. Turned engine off and on and it was fine. That was 12 months ago and never happened since ....... touch wood!
I removed my filter before it went in. I know its a replacement part but if anything went wrong they could have kept a note that the air filter was non original reno part.
If you ended up with any fuel injection problems or anything the intake of air affects they could blame that and you...
