I use nero vision which works a treat (used for well over a year now). Then dvd2one if the converted files are too big. Got divx capability on my dvd player but only had a couple play ok. Most are jerky (probably due to different encoding options when originally done). Dont use this at all...

Sorted. It was corrupted system files. Managed to get all the user files from it using the adapter. Ran the restore cd and its working fine again now. Just concerned because i dont know why this happened in the first place ?!?
