    They do all have power steering as far as I'm aware, I'm not 100% sure on that - but all valvers had power steering and therefor I would guess all the williams did as well.

    You would be as well getting an F7R block as there would be a lot of work in changing the F7P block to accept it all. The F7R has both a longer stroke and a larger bore than an F7P. Also the conrods for both engines are the same anyway.

    That stone chip has been there since I bought it btw sam. I've been through 2 mot's with it since then and not had a problem and it never got any worse, so its not a major problem for MOT time or anything if you were worried about that.

    Try turning the ignition on/off several times before you try and start it, giving it a few seconds with the ignition on each time. If it then starts I would imagine it would support what the post above mine suggests.

    sounds like it could be misfiring from what you said. Try taking each HT lead off one at a time, if you take one off and it makes no difference to how the engine runs then you will know thats the cylinder thats misfiring.
