Only bother with the 64bit if you have applications which have the threading to take advantage (specifically 3DSmax and Photoshop). If you don't use either of these very heavily I really wouldn't bother. There are no other improvements to be had, and there are tons more program compatibility...

mine does it now and then. put it down to French engineering. Turning the car off then restarting puts things right for me, does it for you? re-reading ur post it obviously does but only temporarily. Maybe u are low on an essential fluid or something else a sensor is flagging up?
