I think your doing it right lol. I think your best keeping that border your using on all photos on that account, and make it motor sport? Looks really smart.
Stunning photos, love the log in the stream, love them all tbh.
Nice to see the D300 performing well as I'm getting it next month :) What lens/s was you using and what post processing if any was used?
Sorry for all the questions :)
After work tonight me and my girlfriend drove out to a near by lake for a walk around. It's nice the evenings are a little longer now :)
I'm really struggling to find a stlye of photo that I want to follow, on the one hand I want normal 'press' photos, meaning more as the eye sees it not really...
I've done this before, getting up at silly hours in seach of a good photo. I ended up driving around for 3 hrs with nothing to show for it :( Best to have a subject in mind lol.
Nice shots btw, like the first one, shows how powerful the seas are.
Good ISO range, but not very good FPS.
Would still prefer the D90, I think half the reason for the early announcement of it is becuase of the D90, and movie mode etc.

As I said though, I would go with freezing it like above, I love the detail in the horse and rider that way. Try and zoom right in if possible.
S mode and the higest shutter speed possible would be my choice, at least then you know you can freeze the action when ever you press the button. Variable ISO to counter lighting conditions maybe? Depends how dull it is on the day, if it's sun sun sun then S mode should do the trick.
All the above seem to put me off a little lol. But meh, will still do it, have to learn for ones self.
With the exposure on the photos, I edited them on my Macbook, which I should never do as they always comes out overexposed on other PC's. :(
Getting a D300 next month too so that should help proceedings.
I'm going to discuss with the client what she/he wants etc. £100 for CD with hi res images. Or at extra costs create a photo album.
To do someone's wedding! :D
I was in Darley Dale (near matlock) yesterday, and while waiting for my girlfriend to have her hair cut I kept myself busy taking photos. I met a bmx'er in the park who wanted me to take some pictures and send them via email, then on the way back I took some...
