no worries mate, there nice looking shots, were you using a grad filter on the second one or just got lucky with the sky.
what rig set up are you using mate.
yup as pete has mentioned the lens will become more like 45mm-168mm as the sensor size on 350d/400d means it is increased by around x1.6 the only way to maintain the initial focal length is to buy a full frame camera which is well expensive. the increase has positives and negatives. the positive...
looks good buddy, i wouldnt use T cut though as its quite harsh interms of a cutting compound. there is much better stuff on the market where the particulars break down as you polish them into the pannel. have a look at either meguiars or poorboys cutting compound and make sure you pick...
yep you are better to mount them to the rear seat belt buckle mounting points as in a crash the rear suspension could move, this would move the strut brace which the seats are attached too. i think you can only mount them too a bar if its part of a welded in roll cage
if you look close you can work it out anyway, for example on pic 1 the centre caps are different colours and on pic 2 if you look at the nose, the left vent at the front in the shaddow area and where the paint joins the splitter on left there is a red outline / areas which have not been changed...
also with a bit of tweaking it can make a massive difference (laura one thing you might want to do before tomorrow is give your lens and camera a quick clean as i noticed a lot of dust marks in the sky when editing the pic)

its all about practise really and trying out different techniques. i find it easier not to look at the car as a whole when panning as then it is easy for it to move about the frame causing camera shake on the car. i usually follow something like the wing mirror or door number making sure that...
have you thought about hiring one for the day that way you can get a decent one as most people are probably unwilling to lend £500+ lenses

although it will obviously be different as i only have a 1.2 16v :( i found that the noise of the piper made a pretty big difference in terms of noise (not performance but i wasnt too bother about that). it makes the 1.2 actually sound quite sporty lol. ive got a vid some where, ps this with a...
+1 for brentacre
both me and my bro have modified car insurance policies with them for the last 4 years and i doubt i would go else where, the service is great.
OMG i would be so pissed off. have you managed to see if there is paint from the other car left on yours so you know what colour it is. also have you checked the area for cctv even if there isnt any on your car it would be worth checking the surrounding streets. hopefully you will find a car...
unlucky buddy, have you checked that the wing / bumper hasnt been pushed out as a result of the archliner moving out of position and forcing them to stick out.
on the plus side it now looks like it has a 172 wing in this pic (do it to the other side and it will be a sports rep lol)
the false floor holds the sub box in place, the only reason why the first one nearly entered the cabin is because it was not held in place by a frame / floor meaning it can slide around the boot. therefore in heavy deceleration it has space to move and gain momentum. as the others are trapped in...
the easiest way is to build a false floor, build a wood frame with either a solid mdf board on it so you can maximise bootspace or with an amp window. the sub box is sunk into the floor, trapping it in place
heres one in my clio and one in my bros old car
car is coming along nicely
that is quite a nice way of doing the bumper, i did a similar method but reshaped the top of the 172 bumper to match the 1.2 wing rather than cut that bit off and join it on.
like this in my guide

nice work buddy, if you are thinking yellow for the respray what about mango orange like my old saxo, its not a clio colour so will be a bit different.
lol yeah it doesnt seem very well advertised considering how big it is. its only like £6 to get in so if you live close its not a bad place to go on a rainy sunday or something. the pics are only a really small selection there are loads more cars and bikes there
