Hi guys just got back from a few weeks away over easter down in Devon, on the way down there i decided to stop at the Haynes motor museum as i had recently seen it on a tv programme ( i didnt know it exisited before then) it was great, there was an awesome selection of cars and it made a much...
one thing to bare in mind is that if it states on your policy that you have done pass plus and you havent (even though it was their error) then if you got involved in an accident they might try and claim that you lied about the pass plus in order to get cheaper insurance, therefore making your...
Re: Insurance. Fookers!
try brentacre mate they are the best car insurance company ever, both me and my bro have used them for the last 4 years and i wouldnt swap. the customer service is great as its a small brokers and the guys in there actually know about modified cars rather than some...
+1 This man talks sense, its by far the easiest way for off camera flash on location.
i do have a proper indoor two head studio flash kit which i experimented with outside using a battery inverter but it was a c**k running all the wires so i went for a completely wireless route.
i used the...
cool new pics, i need to try some front on shots i tried to do it off the bonnet but on the clio it angles down too much meaning the rig hits the floor, will have to try it off the roof using a third pole, ive only been using two so far but have another 4 more so may as well make the most of...
no live view is mainly for close up work and i think (but not 100%) that it is only available with manual focus (like the canon HD movie function). You are much better to use the normal view finder as then you are holding the camera in a position that is tucked into your body rather than at arms...
go with ford graphite grey (metallic), it is dark but unlike black wheels it doesnt make your tyres look grey, plus there is loads of flake in there which is great when its sunny as its stops the wheels looking flat

Did this as part of a series i am working on for my final major project. The series is about urban environments being taken back by the wilderness, this image also seems quite relevent to todays economic climate showing canary wharf and a porsche (the car for stock brokers) in decay. all the...

mainly because of the cost mate, not only do you have to buy the wings and official skirts which are more than the replica ones you need to buy other things like archliners and wheelspacers. also there are more parts to paint which pushes up the cost, plus i was told by a bodyshop that if you...
yeah that was cortesty of the previous owner along with a bodge in stero where the wires are taped together, led washer lights and ripspeed door sills, have sorted out all of them but i have a feeling that the badge is glued on :(

ps excuse the car being so dirty, needs a full on detail which i will hopefully do over the easter hols but my dissertation is eating up all my time at the moment :(

no probs mate, the woodern frame leaves a large air gap around the amp and in some sections the frame itself has been left with cut outs to help airflow but other than that i dont have any fans etc. this is the same method i have used in my old car, i ran that for 4 years and never had any...
i did mine like this, building a woodern frame to support the sub box and amp under the false floor. dont have a pic of the floor and box retrimmed though but it gives you an idea
will look like this one i did in my bros old car but without the amp window
put fibre glass on the back of it to join the two pieces together, the splitter is [ shaped in profile so apply tape on all sides other than the back to hold it in place, rough up the surface and apply some p40 fibre glass compound mix (it already has the fibre glass in it all you do is add a...

when i said about the centre caps mate i ment about painting the plastic bit of the wheels not the round oz racing logo, however if you didnt want to keep your oz racing logos silver you can buy carbon fibre ones on ebay
looks good buddy, i think and dont quote me on this as it was a while since i did mine but you should have a plastic tray that connects to the bumper and is held on to the bottom of the car by two bolts, i think its to stop stones flicking up and hitting the radiator. also im not sure you will...
