Got to agree that the carbon effect does reduce once lacquered. Here is my wing mirror wrapped in 3m and then 2 coats of laquer. I must admit the gloss has reduced over time. It now looks like a satin type finish.

Interesting project. Without seeing any pictures of what you have done its hard to tell what could be improved. I cannot remember what size M3 bodies are (I think 3.0 and 3.2 evo were different) but they should be ok. What manifold are you using? Are you using velocity stacks/trumpets...

FYI. Wosner 84mm pistons give 2061cc with standard stroke. As per above, rounded to 2.1L

I wouldn't lower the rear if you are suffering with understeer. The opposite in fact.

^^have you posted your results online with a graph? Wouldn't mind seeing it if you have. Btw. The car at the West Midland RR day that produced 179bhp did have approx 103k on the clock and had either worn piston rings or valve seals. Just thought I would paint a more complete picture.

Yep, CCNP switching does include layer 3. I particularly enjoyed reading how QoS works and is configured (without using autoqos) ;)

From what I could tell, looking at some of the graphs, they stopped the plot at peak power. The revs I saw most of these peaking at were in line with the Renault figures quoted above. I didn't think a map will alter that point too much The only minor frustrating bit was that everyone's graphs...
