hmm where you based m8?You should come have a drive of mine. Mine is standard and has a totally neutral balance. I think its more when the wheels are pointing all over the place you get issues with understeer. I rekon almost nobody will have driven a car with "standard geo" as most people who...
Hmm its a bit of a myth that actually. A lot (if not most) of the standard cars come with crap GEO as there was not the time allowed in production that the Elises got. Standard GEO is totally fine on the VX. Mines been done to factory spec and delivers the perfect understeer to oversteer on the...
Mintex is a good idea. Dont waste your money on tuning though anything south of a supercharger is a waste of time. 2.4 inlet looks good on paper but its a lot of pissing about for sometimes no gain at all.
I would also be very very wary of changing suspension on the VX! Bear in mind that it...
Brillaint. So effortless with the M3 must be great to have the power to just stick the back end out. In the VX it really needs to be wet to hang the back out like that.
TBH Looked like a well executed bit of lift off oversteer to me. little blip at the end as he gripped. Good skills.
If the same thing had been done with a skyline GTR everyone would be expressing bodily fluids over it.
Brilliant write up fella you cant beat the first trip out there it really is petrolhead heaven. We were at the same hotel in May this year. You cant beat munching euro breakfast while theres cars streaming down the hill right in front of you.
Did you go down to trackside near the hotel? Did...
I work in electronic security and we have more and more stuff going onto networks these days. Unfortunately when you come from a world of proper wire terminals and nuts/bolts we find IP stuff to be a bit flaky at times.
Current problem I have is a bit of kit that we have connected via an...
yeah shame that I think he got out again on some spare tyres. I had a chat with him in the morning, love the car wouldn't mind something like that next
Had a superb day today at Croft! Weather was a bit iffy in the morning (check the state of the car that was gleaming before I set off!) Navigated my way up the A1 having to pull off to check for damage after a van shed a plastic wheel arch part right in front of me! Thankfully it was ok so it...
Crikey you dropped on there with the cars. Both times we've been theres been little exotica. Looks like they were saving themsleves for the weekend you were there!
They are probably just too busy. If I cant be arsed with a job on the side I just quote a ridiculous price then if they accept its a motivation to do it.
172/182 is a far far superior drivers car to the 197 but the 197s do look great and are not bad cars at all. IMO the 1*2 was the last of the proper drivers hot hatches. Any newer cars dont have the steering feel (anyone remember that?) and outright connectedness.
