Clio should be quicker, but not by much. Doubt the pwr/weight ratios are that far apart.
My experience is that, similar with the Clio's, you get good ones and bad ones. I've pulled a fair few lengths on a couple of GTi's/VTS's... but then I've had one stick on my arse up to silly speeds...
Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)
Agreed. I like the design of the current one... It's unmistakably Apple.
Maybe they've had to square it off for production costs/quality issues etc?!
I shan't be forking out for one... having had one for 6 months now I don't think the premium they command...
I have an iPhone, but wish I'd bought a blackberry. iPhone is one large collection of pointless gimmicks tbh. Novelty soon wears off.
It's pretty good for surfing, as phones go, but the lack of flash is annoying.
BB does email much better.
Horses for courses.
There's noise evident at all iso's, regardless of which scene you use. And pretty bad in low light. But it's a point and shoot with a teeny sensor, so that's hardly surprising. And ultimately it's all relative. For what it is- a cheap camera - it's not bad.
I did say 'for blue skys, it's worth...
I disagree, but then I see from your pic you like to do a lot of PP. I don't. Negates the point of a point and shoot IMHO. If I want some decent photos, or I'm concerned about noise, I wouldn't touch my tz7 with a barge pole.
Try the 'vivid' setting for blue skys... tends to bring them out a bit. Can look a bit unnatural, but always worth a play.
Panorama assist gives pretty good results too, coupled with the software that comes fre with the camera.
You can get the TZ6 for about £177 delivered now mate, from Amazon. More or less the same camera.
If you can find another £27 from somewhere, you won't be disappointed!!
Still really pleased with it.
Once you get over the fact (as with almost any compact) it's completely hopeless in low light (and noisy lol) I think you'll love it.
Has everything I want in a compact, the HD video recording is really good, although you do get issues with flare/lines from some...
Shouldn't be. I'm assuming the small boards they are mounted to have current limiting resistors in series, to regulate the current. If not a regulated power supply would be a better bet.
Shouldn't mix and match with stuff like this really, from my days at college, LED's are sensitive little...
That ebay one above is over twice the power @ 25W. Old one is 10W.
Also, max current of your old one is 0.085A, which is 85mA, so less than a tenth of the current of the one above.
Will be plenty. lol.
