its easier to just to replace the headunit, as when you fit a modulator, when they bloody work that is the display doesnt move past 90 odd i think. this has been the case with every import ive ever worked on, wether i fitted the modulator or not.
cant remember wot the loan is but this month, £900.00 worth of hoses but they were a freebey, and £2500.00 on brand new race prep engine and a few other bits. no fuel though this month, been sat in a workshop. do i win?
tell um, if your in a bad smack and your car gets taken to storage, dont think thell be happy bout you going to pound to change airfilters, springs, everything else. trust me i speak from experience. anything not declared, they wont pay out, that includes third pary cars.
as for doing turbo lump again, yeh no way would i go williams or 1.8 lump, much to fun running 1.4, service must be done ie oil every 6000 max etc, runing cost no worse than a 1.8, and if you want power, its reasonably easy to get. go for a trip in both before you decide, im sure youll be...
currently i believe only sony, alpine and kenwood do the leads to get controls to work. for pretty pictures on the stereo, go for a sony. for sound quality go for a alpine, but dont go for a kenwood, there sh*t, just total utter complete sh*t. autoleads should list both adapter codes if you...
go turbo, ive been in willimas and driven mine, theres in my view, there is no contest. over 90 odd a williams will pull on you as the gtt runs out of gearing, but its so funny looking at peed off williams owners trying to figure out why they got stuffed, once again my views based on personal...
as far as rebuild goes its having a lightened and balanced knife edge crank and flywheel, gas flowed and ported cylinder head, low compression pistons, h/l springs, new timing chain, new cam and load of other stuff. itll be a racing machine. should have power steering sorted as well. price...
must admit, binned my dumpvalve, charge coolers soooooo much better. any way go turbo, nothing better than upsetting bigger engined cars at the lights. the only thing is im not controlled enough to not stuff every thing that tries to race me. he he. go gtt, its the most fun u can have without...
what can i say, there top blokes, i managed to munch a head gasket doing a scooby and ended up in dire need of a rebuild. phoned around couldnt get it done anywhere for months, but the torsion boys came good. engine is now being rebuilt, low compression etc, and will absolutly fly when it comes...
fair enough, only tellin you what they told me, p.s. at yarmouth a month or so ago a corsa hit 156 something. maybe someone should tell um there equipment sucks then.
you need to change engine mounts, drive shafts, sh*t loads of stuff, you really need a dodnor car, then you get the brakes you need etc. this isnt the sort of thing id take on if youve never seen it done, thats why i paid someone to do it!.

mine has got 3 12jl w3v2 each being run on an alpine v12, bass cube, the source unit is a pioneer 9400mp and theres components, two sets run off another v12. dont know what mic was used, but fusion supplied it at a local soundoff.
check to make sure the alpine doesnt have a seprate earth (black) as high end units do. the make sure red/yellow wires are correctly conected and the blue/white on is for the remote. if you do have a seprate earth then just by pass the original iso and connect to main loom. steve.
insurance prices, with the new paintjob koni adjustables and turbod charge cooled five turbo lump, that all be another 35.00 on my policy for the year, not bad aye! yeh i did say 35.00
told matt im at southend tonight so he may turn up, he needs to be welcomed to the world of turbos. as for anyone else who wants a go just come and ask, you cant miss my motor. ill be by the casino.
im probably getting rid of my 17s, think ill go for 19s instead. not to worried about ragging the nuts of the motor. been there, done that, just for looks now. and its turbod so dont make to much difference anyway!
i had some mb quart in mine, lasted for around 40 minutes before i ripped them out and introduced to bin, worst sounding speakers ive ever owned. even the £400.00 hand made ones are crap. just my personal view though.
in the top pic they is a blue valver with azev wheels in the back ground, does anyone know if it lives near stansted. only wondering cos i slayed one just like it a couple of nights ago. he had to pick on a turbo to play with didnt he! hehe.
if you have seen my clio, the marble one on donny bit in the media section that was also done by nv as above, top blokes but a bit dearer than most resprays though. around 3 grand but worth every penny.
