To be honest it is no where near as bright as the pictures show, my photography skills worked ;). If anyone can look up exif date on the pictures you will notice the exposures where set to between 5 and 10 seconds.

The boot light was the easiest, that just pops out and you can access the bulb more or less straight away... the interior light was a little harder, mine broke in the process and now I only have two options out of the three constant on, auto on doors and constant off... I can't have it...

Probably not to everyone's taste but here's a few pictures of the car at night with the new blue interior lights :) They aren't the best quality because it was freezing and there where kids playing with peoples cars down the street which I was more concerned with... :)

I drove past a blue 182 driving around in Hertford twice today, one at around about 3PM I think it was and one on my way home at about 4:45PM. Didn't catch the number plate but its a nice light blue colour, possibly a Cup. Anyone own it?

Yep, 3GB is the maximum 32bit will run although it only uses 2.5GB of it... To be honest if you want a performance boost then just get 2x identical 1GB and run them duel channel. Just slot the RAM into slots a1 and b1 or a2 and b2 and assuming the motherboard can run duel channel it will give...

I have never paid to download anything from microsoft, I think you have an option with this deal to do either a download or they actually post it. Im running XP Pro at the moment, I never bothered to upgrade to Vista because of all the bad reviews about it... Let us know how it goes with Home...

Right well I tried what someone mentioned above and dropping from third to second and then to first and that works. I used to drive an old crappy 2004 Nissan Micra and it let me drop to first from third in that... Problem solved anyway.

I was always taught to do it that way, I am obviously not engaging first gear when I am doing it. Imagine driving up to a T junction, your going to have to stop so you can see... so instead of slowing down earlier and going down the gears I just hold the clutch right down and pop it in first so...

A service seams to be ringing out to me but I fear this is going to be expensive... Every now and then my Ph1 refuses to go into 1st gear and I actually have to force it into gear... I could be heading towards a T junction in 3rd, start slowing down, drop the clutch down and push it straight...

Does anyone know what kind of bulb goes in the cigarette lighter? I just noticed that the surrounding part and the little bit in the ash tray doesn't light up. Seeing as I am on a roll changing all the lights on my car to LEDs recently I may as well change that bulb as well. I can't find...

Nope, its defiantly in the right way round... in fact it only works one way round.

Fixed the problem although I now can't manually turn the light constantly on. I can only have it on automatic when the door opens and closes or turned off completely.

I took out my courtesy interior light to see what bulb was in there and I now have a somewhat annoying problem... When I set the light to turn on when the doors are open and off when the doors are closed the interior light is stuck on and wont turn off unless I turn it off manually. I think...

Does anyone know what kind of bulb goes in the interior courtesy bulb in a Ph1 Clio? I can't find it in my manual and I read somewhere its a W5W light but all that comes up online for this is sidelight bulbs.

Can you hear the car locking when you press the button? I had a similar problem over the weekend where the driver door wouldn't lock or unlock unless I did it manually. It seams unlikely that all your doors failed at the same time but I had to remove the door card, clean the locking mechanism...

That's pretty much the plan... I am going to keep to a black and green colour scheme, as you might be able to see there is already a black badge on the front and there is the same on the back. I will eventually spray the front and rear bumper green and I am keeping the side strips black...
