haha true. Some trade stuff is great.
A company called Direct Valeting used to (about 10 years ago) use a type of shampoo delivered in a 30litre drum (I have no idea what it's called) it was fluorescent pink and I've never seen it anywhere since.
I am not joking it used to leave the car...
The AG shampoo doesn't foam up well but it is very good in my opinion and I own a black car.
I put about a cap full in the bucket (cold is fine) then give the wash mitt a little spritz with it every now and then after rinsing it in a seperate bucket. I use a watering can to rinse each section...
You'll never go far in life thinking that things won't get resolved because they are your fault when clearly they are not.
I dont work in the trade any more Harry? I am completly agreeing with you here, it is unacceptable which is one reason why I wouldn't be bent over by the dealers for it...
In my youth I worked for a 'major' luxury car manufacturer who where getting recalls because the "steering lock was activating on cars doing 70 mph!!!" Imagine that!
Renault should be sorting this out for you, getting a replacement car sorted while the work is done and giving you some...
I love that, although I think it's the light making it look cream?! It reminds me of the old R5 GTT's in pearl white which I always preferend over the pure white models.
The 1.6 is a tidy car, nice simple, effective mods.

When I had my mx5 (mohair not vinyl) I used some stuff by a company called Moss iirc which repelled the water by making it bead and run off, also stopped it from going green, get yourself over to the MX5 club forum though, they will know whats best and are quite helpfull, they'll also appreciate...
They are fine you just need to go easy with it and look for some guides of how to use it on the web or find someone who will teach you the process and can steer you in the direction of the correct products.
I havent got a buffer myself, it's not practicle to get mains power down to my car...
Re: Feeb video editors, the CS montage
that would be a nice video effect actually, a blue, red and liquid yellow clio in the clio sport colours doing some fancy driving on track with a monochrome background (Who's up for frame by frame editing!!! :) ), That might make a nice intro to a vid....
Re: Feeb video editors, the CS montage
Not an audi fan but this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqK98uodob0
Shows nicely what can be done without using daft special effects, the car only appears for a second, but the style of direction, lighting and music all prime you for the final shot...
Re: Feeb video editors, the CS montage
I was fortunate to work in the same company as a couple of superb layout artists in the past one guy was ex cosgrove hall, the other disney. I've also worked with disney approved stills artists and I can honestly say the skills needed to perform at that...
Re: Feeb video editors, the CS montage
The 'right here, right now' bit of this vid fits really nice with the still shots then tops off nicely with a bit of zoomed footage, quite stylish, it's also a very nice car.
Re: Feeb video editors, the CS montage
That effect has been used quite a lot, tbh I think the future is hand drawn animation, that's where I want to see advancements made with all this new technology.
Don Bluth's animation work is up there with the best. He's an ex disney prodigy who...

Re: Feeb video editors, the CS montage
Used to be more into skate stuff myself, they tend to use ultra distorted lenses to get extra perpective, but I know what you mean about the surf vids they are pretty stylish too, I also quite like it when dramatic pauses are put into a film with a break...
Re: Feeb video editors, the CS montage
Not so much the cgi, I mean the titles and the way typography is used to enhance the footage.
Very good example of classy editing, I like the camera moves in that gone in 60 seconds vid, it also well put together.... but I feel not such a great intro...
Re: Feeb video editors, the CS montage
If you are into video editing Abi, you could do much worse than look at some of the early demo scene amiga work for some ideas on how a variety of disciplines can be used in video.
The Demo scene is something I've always been into and it got me into...
You could use Scratch X by hand, one panel at a time and a get yourself a spare arm when you've finished.
Or
Find somene with an orbital like a Porter Cable (known as PC), or rotary (make sure they know what they are doing)
And some decent Menz polish worked into the panels to get rid of...
