Clear or smoked for a silver car and...
Hi all,
Can some one please explain to me why bhp doesn’t always go up with engine size? It used to be the bigger the engine the faster the car…but now that we all talk in horse power I’m confused.
For example; The V6 is 3.0 and gives 230bhp, but and Evo 8FQ is a 2.0 and produces...
nope, just keep it all for show!!!! the same reason I go to the gym...never dream of using the muscle (car or mine) to its limits in real life!!! LOL!!!
Of all the cars in that price range, the 172 has got to have one of the best interiors around!!!!!! Luxury compared to every other car I’ve owned, it makes traffic jams a tolerable experience…..as a fellow female, I cant see her problem???
so that will make your Cup very rare in silver :).
I thought that they were all gonna be Cups with optional extras to make it up to 172 spec??!!
Try the link on this page for BB performance tuning, I bought a set of Lexus lights from them last week and am very pleased with them and their quick service. And cheaper than K-Tec for the same lights.
They also have them in black; dont forget to claim your discount!!:)
oh yes, most Renault dealers.....like getting blood out of a stone :(
(there are some good ones around, (Dales in Cornwall:)) but most dont seem very helpful)
there is a list of standard problems that we all seem to share  but these are usually small ones or warranty jobbies:
Leaky washer bottle, washer jet balls (to wash the headlights) fall out, exhaust rattles at 4k revs, rattles from the passenger seat, temp. sensor goes wild!!! Think...
Think it was 80.9p, still overpriced, but use it anyway!! :(
Got a pile of cards, most of them duplicates...cant be arsed to list them just now, there was an Off Topic post about this a few weeks ago, with lists....
My book has a whole list of codes under the 172 heading (6)..CB1C being one of them. I think its a different code for each country spec. Mines got the uk spec code CB1N.
BTW my hubby is in Jburg at the mo. He saw a silver 172 today, Ill tell him to look out for you, do you have a cliosport...
Around the 10/11K mark seems to be the going rate at the mo....although my dealer had one up for £12,999!!!! and sold it within a few weeks, it was a bit tatty looking too....scratched and scuffed, not looked after at all :(
oh, thanx RPM!!!
My sister test drove a pug 206, 180 and she said it wasnt any faster than my Clio....and she had trouble reaching across to the gear stick coz the side of the bucket seat got in the way.....she is very small though.
Can some one translate this page...is it saying a Clio RS 206???

182??? wonder if its just mods like induction kits and zorsts?? Then we could upgrade 172s with the same mods??
Why would Ren go to all the bother of remarketing the whole car again for such a small gain??? But then again they like to p*** off their existing loyal customers by out dating...
Today Ive had no problems with my car......apart from not being able to look at it and drive it at the same time!! ;)
Go test drive as many as you can before making your choice....I did, it was loads of fun:D
