Had mine replaced on Tuesday under warrany, my car is an 02 plate also. They showed me the bottle, it was cracked at the bottom where the gromit (their word) goes. The guys at Renault are gonna get a load of cracked bottles back this week!!

BB performance tuning exhausts, has anyone got one or seen/heard one?? Are they any good and how do they compare to others like Magnex? :)

Its like the wipers; they take on a life of their own!!!! Some times they dont work very well, other times they work far to well!! Best one was when they stopped when I stopped at junctions and started again when I moved.....never happened before or since :confused:

Mine always come on in a multi storey car park, I get some helpful people pointing this out to me!! It is a delayed reaction as Roamer said, both switching on and off...as I pull out of the car park in to bright sunshine they stay on for a few mins, again, thankyou helpful people for pointing...

You will get three years warranty from new, ring Renault UK to register it, they will ask you to send some documents, only send them photocopies coz they tend to loose them ;) 0800 0723372 You can use any dealer for warranty work but you do have to get it serviced with them...

Thats good news steve, my dealers are nice people, but they just keep on ordering the wrong parts and making me wait weeks for small problems...Ive spent so much time in there that they even ask how my family are!!! Up to now, Ive had three things sorted under warranty, pluss a washerjet ball...

I had to wait weeks for a washer bottle, mine was also cracked. So the out of stock thing is correct. Finnaly had mine replaced yesterday under warranty,but they wont sort the dam exhaust out under warranty :confused: the mind boggles...

Silver valvers are sssoooo classy :cool: only seen two in silver before and had to stop and stare each time!!!

or do what they do to me, strip the car down, find the fault, dont have the part, put the broken one back in and WAIT WEEKS for the part, then they dont ring you, then when you finnaly go for the new part its the wrong one........:confused:

Just fitted them, Silver vision AND side lights ALL BY MY SELF!!!! I dont like to be called a whimp!!! And not a cut or graze :D:D:D:D:cool: Whoo Hoo!!!!

Dont know if you will have to change your locks, they could probably get you a key from a code or something.. They will charge you big, this is Renault afterall..:o

yeah, it shows you how...but its very hard to physicaly get your hand in there never mind try and get the bulb out!!! I Was hoping some one had worked out a knack of doing it, whilst keeping the skin on your hands....:(

Silvervision indicators and bluevision side lights. How the hell do you physicaly get into the headlights to change them???:confused:

Did they weld the new part on?? Maybe its that creaking..just a thought ..

Some people on here have said that the rattle just happens again when they replace it and so you just end up going in circles :confused: The warranty book is very clear when it says exhaust covered for one year, they timed that one so right :@ its not worth the hassle of leaving your car with...

172gal, The magnex fits ok then?? They (magnex) told me the mark2 exhaust wasnt ready yet so I spent my dosh on alloys insted... Yes you must tell us what is sounds like!!!!! :D

According to my dealer, I will have to pay about £160 towards a new midsection coz my car was 14months old when it started!!! However they did say that it will not harm the car to leave it, only my ears as it gets worse (and it has). :( So based on this I have decided to wait ‘till I can...
