    Thats what they want to happen, you leaving them alone. Get it back to them with a list of ALL the problems and keep on going back until they are all sorted....you dont have to be sh*ty with them just be firm and confident.

    Get some one with small hands to do it, I fitted mine no probs you just have to get your arm at the right angle, I stood at the front of the car and curved my arm over...:confused:

    Thanx Nick (y) so if I ask next time I go to Renault will they find it for me so I can get it put on the V5? I cant read it so will it be a big hassle to them?

    The side badge is the first thing nova drivers look at when they see my car....then they look at me with a "oh a woman" shock face and a nervous smile!!! One bloke nearly fell out of his window tring to get a look at my sis when she was driving it....more to do with the near none existant top...

    I like the 2.0 16v badge :cool: probably coz Ive never had a 2litre car before!! Plus my reg plates have the proper Renault Clio 172 logo on the bottom in silver and a nice Renault diamond also in silver up the side :)

    On my V5 document it says engine no. Not known. Why would this be allowed by the DVLA?? :confused: Ive tried but cant read the engine number on the engine, is there an easy way to read this or do I have to get Renault to take it apart so I can get to it? Another point is, the V5 says my car...

    yep, as I said once before, Renault didnt order enough parts and have passed these cars off to the british telling us they ment to do it like that. "give it a silly name, get rid of all that old blue paint we ordered too much of, then tell em its faster, the English are stupid they will buy...

    "I drive a BeBop" that sounds so lame....Im gonna cry, what are they thinking?? Something to match the wishy washy names of Skodas..... 225bhp ?? do you think that will be the same 2.0 engine as the current 172? If so, the 172 could be tuned to 225bhp?? what do you all think?

    It took six kwick fit blokes and 2 visits to get my steering wheel sraight!!!! That was six months ago and its still spot on :)

    Different spec, have look on http://www.renault.co.ukwww.renault.co.uk Cup = lower spec, but NOT a lesser car!! (they do now come with abs as an option) 172 = Top spec, The dogs!! But you pay more. :)

    Just wanted to add, MG Rover have given fantastic service over the past two years.....but the strange thing is, the Renault dealer I use is owned by the same people, all I can think of is Renault train em to order the wrong parts etc, etc........:p

    They must be very busy, it took only 30mins to replace my washer bottle while I waited. Thats not including the weeks of waiting for the part!!! ;)
