Now Im even more worried, did ask where the car was going to be kept tonight and got told it will be staying in the garage in bits. I really hope it gets fixed without introducing more rattles!

What bothers me the most is that I had so much hastle with my last car, was literaly having to take it into the Vauxhall dealer every month, the list of parts they had to replace is vast. I bit the bullet and thought if I buy a brand new car maybe I wont have any problems, how wrong was I.

The problem is these days cars are so complicated, sensors and electronics everywhere, just to much stuff wating to go wrong!

UPDATE:

Well they have stripped the dashboard right down and have found the problem, apparently a fan or something has burnt out and the new part is on order to be fitted next week. It takes them 4 hours of stripping down the dash to get to the affected part!

Does air con really use so much fuel??? Cos i have a 1.6 and my trip thingy says that my ave fuel consumption is 29.2mpg, and ive been told this is shocking for this car!

Well lets put it this way, I average 38mpg in the 172, and thats with the aircon on most of the time.
