I spose the old flying adage still works.. but translated to road use..
There are Old Racers, and Bold Racers, but, not many Old, Bold Racers..
Joe..
lol Kelly.. Dont be so hard on the Willy (ooops that sounded wrong lol) !!
I would look at it this way...
take the cost per week now of petrol.
Work out (from MPG of LPG figures) the amount of lpg you would use in a week... (cost wise) allowing for the times you WILL use petrol when...
try pressing the accelerator GENTLY lol...
you would get the same effect... (and cheaper too probably !)
that must be the HEIGHT of SACRILEGE Kelly..:o poor mr. Williams... ol Frank would fall from his wheelchair !.
lol Cup m8.. yep, de-coloulring.. the latest trend !
ps, do you live in a dodgy area ??.. cos, some barstuds stole yer rear headrests, Aircon, ABS and Leather. !!!
I wouldnt park there again If I was you...:devilish:

when your car gets a bit older you might wanna switch to the 15W-50 version if your car gets noisier or if you start to use oil
Or, save the money on the expensive stuff and sort the problems out lol...:D
I think the miniature red post box stuck to the roof spoils it though...
unless it lights up at night ???:devilish:
and, why is there a bit of car on the road lol ??.. looks like a bit of blue fell off.. I suppose you are going to tel me its a sweety wrapper ???

any oil that conforms to the std laid down by the manufacturer that suits your pocket. And, any that you have brand loyalty to lol...
Personally, I like castrol as I trust them to deliver (but thats purely personal taste)- it will be no better or worse than another with the same...

;)
whaddaya mean it aint me lol !!.. I would love that too hee hee..
For ultimate potential, as you say, you wouldnt use the std tb at all. (If you DID use it I doubt there would be much benefit in either mk1 or 2 as the incredible gain by fitting 4 tbs on even a std engine shows the severe...
No probs, disagree away :)
I have tried it MANY time m8... it makes sod all difference in the great scheme of things. However, the benefit to suspension control is definite. (unless some muppet then adds uprated shocks to remove any benefit lol !)
Moving a few pounds off the flywheel is one...

Would tend to disagree Ben m8.. the TB on the mk1 was not offering the best torque spread (flat curve) due to it being too large and lack of control of opening by the user driver
the change to fly by wire tb on the mk2 sorted this, the absolute power is the same on both models with the mk2...
