Prodcuing that sort of power is not difficult, 22 psi at the I/C outlet will sort it. (its fairly easy to calculate effectively.) and no nos is needed at all. the real difficulty is getting to all hold together. Ste. are you using the std rods ?, and what compression ratio are you running...

I must admit I have not noticed this at all, the car seems fine - as do the brakes, mind you I automatically adjust my driving style to suit conditions so may be compensating for it. Joe.

experience.. aha, the old chestnut .. well, there are 2 forms of experience... lets take - 3 years experience as an example.. is that 3 years of learning and conditioning.. or 1 year repeated 3 times.. or 6 months repeated 6 times lol.. ie, did they actually learn, apply, learn more...

anyone who drives at 160 or 180 on uk public roads is basically braindead. ;) I have picked up more body parts from people (who KNEW they were good drivers) than many here have had hot dinners. Soooooo... sorry, but, I tend to agree that the inexperienced driver and a high performance car...

Hi M8, yes, thats correct... and also 86 foot pounds of torque at max rpm... to do what I have done you NEED an accurate torque plot from a rolling road for your car. from that you can calculate VE, BHP etc. Joe.

Ok Steve, its about angles.. if the stroke is the same, a shorter rod will go through a faster arc at the top of the stroke, a longer rod will form a shorter arc. Try to imagine a rotating pivot (crank), a rod ir differing length - short and long, and a top pivot (little end or piston pin) -...

sorry, I forgot to mention, the gearbox (Sadev) is aparantly designed for up to 200 FP torque, so may be of no use to you.
