Plusnet offer a free static Ip, as do Be and Eclipse. Its mainly so I can use/login to CCTV at home without having to set-up a DDNS everytime the IP changes.

Oddly enough no I didn't have that set on. It was weird I'd bring it upstairs to stream some films from the of downstairs and after turning it off the fan would kick in randomly whilst in standby.

No it wouldn't do nothing to it. I have always turned my old fat one off at the back as sometimes the fan would kick in during the night and wake me up. That one was an old original 40gb one and my new one you cannot turn it off without unplugging it. Silly design

Im quite liking that gun too. Managed to get into a few games recently and actually been able to play without lag. Managed a couple of 30+ kills to 4 deaths. Still having major issues with lag when someone on my team brings in air support it seems.
