If you don't want to spend lots then planet polish wheel seal and shine is pretty awesome. Used that on my old amphasite wheels and for 7 quid it lasted ages.

FTTC installs look like this internally?? (in your houses??)

Totally different. FTTC is fibre to cab and normal pair to your house. FTTH is Fibre all the way to your house with an ONT (Optical Network Termination) which the box for is totally different (has an optical connector on it)
