No way a cd head unit used like that uses 20 amps, thats over 200 watts. Might use 200watts if you have 4 speakers attached and the volume up at maximum which I doubt.
5-10 amps at the most it would use.
Nuts hey?!
Apparently there is nothing wrong with my speed though as the router shows its connected at 8 meg (according to the retards at sky). Yes I KNOW thats what the router says but thats not what im seeing.
"Are you saying it feels more like 1 meg rather then 8 meg sir?"
NO im telling...
Nope...
We have a secure network now which only a few of us can access, you cant access what they are calling the "double green side" from our normal "Green side" (thats what the rest of the company are on.
Segger? Ie jtag ?
Who ripped them then? Yes its extremely paranoid IMO.
I'm now trying to work out how to control all my PCs and monitors with one keyboard.
I'm having a blonde moment here....
I had one pc connected up with 2 monitors. Have a new pc now that is a special one kept on our protected green side network at work. One of the monitors has 2 inputs so that is now hooked up via dvi to the new pc (i don't need 2 screens for that new pc)...
I changed the other halfs digitizer on Friday evening on her Samsung Galaxy Ace (was smashed due to her dropping it)
Hardest bits was forgetting to take out the SD card and wondering why I couldn't remove the main PCB from case and putting the ribbon cable for the digitizer in :o
We are having a "panic" moment at work here at the minute.
Working on a project and our boss is afraid the Chinese will hide capture software etc in facebook etc to steal our ideas.
So they are making a "double green side" server which has no access to the outside world. The thing is they...
Yep il agree with that.
I try and play MW3 after not going on it for weeks and its just rubbish online now.
I still play it with mates privately and thats much more fun, we are actually trying to get objectives rather then running around attempting to no-scope etc.
Doing a search on the internet for sd picture quality brings up some interesting reading for the op me thinks....
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&site=&source=hp&q=sky+sd+picture+quality&oq=&aq=0&aqi=s3&aql=&gs_l=mobile-gws-hp.1.0.41l3.0l0l0l2329l2l2l0l2l2l0l0l0ll0l0.
Have fun.
Going back to the op...what type/model of tv do you have? Also what type of sky box.
I believe I'm right on saying on the sky HD boxes they do the upscaling themselves on both SD and HD "channels". You can change that though I think to not upscale the SD channels.
If I wasn't scared of heights I would of carried on in the aerial/satellite industry I reckon.
If and when my current company goes tits up I thought about getting into CCTV installs.
Installer I take it? I was an old analogue guy and did a load of the NEW DIGITAL installs in about 99 I think (put that in bold as i remember posters everywhere about it). People think I'm mad that i can remember the position of astra1. We had to look for the "CROWN" (as my boss called it) on...
ITV1 wales is just on another frequency on the same satellite.
I was under the impression Sky boxes knew what area you were in by the postcode stamp in your viewing card (there was an issue with people not getting the righy channels back in the day as they used the incorrect postcodes)...
