Get hold of some PTFE gaskets. You can re-use but its not advised. I did to get out of trouble but i changed as soon as i could after!! K-TEC sell them for approx £40, bargain!
if it was reliable, people would buy! I run a cup set up, it is a cup but it did have air con lol. The only easy reason for this is the readiness of the parts if required!! There are plenty of brackets about if you look in the right places. I set mine up for around £50. How much would yours be??
Full on build will see high 230's. Type r's are ok, a few lads have had them on here but then gone back to the clio's. Better handling in my opinion, lighter and slightly quicker!! I roast em all day long around my area!! Best thing for the clios now is the supercharger, RS Tuning do a good kit...
What do you like about a run down old RAF base lol?
It is in my back garden as such!! Been trying to access the run way for a while now, still no joy :( lol
yeah thats the place! Yeah ill pop along for a bit, say hello, hand you some busines cards lol. I worked for GDI a couple of years back before they moved out west, now looking to get set up around here as there really isn't anyone apart from jamsport close. Angelworks are, but i dont think...
Ill pop over for a bit, wouldn't mind getting some of you interested in some work. Ill soon be starting up on my own, all renault sport stuff. Cheap rates!! :D
There the worst instruction's ever lol. I take it this is a system that use's the original sensor? You should of gone wideband instead of narrow on the original.
My cup keeps up with my mates hawkeye GB270. He didn't like it one bit lol. Got away from me on the bumps because mines about 2mm off the floor. In the bends i was having to dab the brakes to avoid hitting him up the arse!!
This ridge is where the top compression ring doesn't quite reach the top of the cylinder.
At TDC does the piston move excessively? From what ive seen from the pics i would put it down to a cracked valve stem guide. They are made from bronze as standard and very weak. Any impact from the belt...
Down near cambridgeshire. Straight down the A1. I had mine rebuilt when i rebuilt the short motor (missus blew cyl 1 rings).
The head rework cost me over £400, i have the reciept to prove the work and date etc. It was over a year ago but has never been run. In the end i brought a 35k engine...
Consult a workshop. High fuel pressure is fairly dangerous. You connect a mechanical meter to a point it the high pressure side of the fuel system. Timing is a bit easier, find a haynes manual or even better if you can, an autodata timing belts book.
Timing is critical on the F4 range, power can differentiate between 20-30lbs ft in some stages is not set spot on. Renault timing tools need to be used!!
Book in with a reputable rolling road and ask for it to be checked. AFR stands for air fuel ratio.
(how many parts air, to how many parts fuel.) Like 3 eggs to every 300grm's of flour when making pancakes lol
