As long as you have the specific part number they'll usually get it for you. $$$ though.
Good job on 3rd dude. For the comparative lack of effort you've put into it compared to some of the cars that are at these shows that funkin good. Next summer going to be a show season? Let me know if...
Sold my Ph1 172 and bought a Golf GTi 1.8T. Only really regretted it as the Golf was sooooo thirsty.
So, went back to a 172 Cup and then sold that for a Bora TDi to save some pennies for my wedding and now baby on the way. I've not regretted selling the second Clio but there are days when I'd...
You're a geek but at least you're proud of it! I don't see the point of a guide for the first time you play it though... takes away the point a bit doesn't it?
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
Liking how this is progressing.
I was close to buying DUF... wish I had. :(
If it's the actual jacking point that's bent then isn't it more a car fault than the bloke's? He can only assume that it's strong enough when jacking it up...?
Or have I missed something? Anyway, if he's sorting it then happy days.
Not yet, purely WiFi to WiFi.
It'll come in the future I expect.
My incase arrived today. Very basic and I prefer my bumper but can't complain as both were free!
Yeah absolutely fine to nick the photo's Mark, they're a pretty good resolution on Flikr I think but let me know if you'd like them by disc or email. I'll try and continue to update this thread with the bonnet test over the next few months also.
The rain kind of deceived the results at the time...
Some more 'afters' following a decent clean-up and nicer weather today... all of the car given a Vic Concourse Red top-up except for the bonnet.

Huh? You're missing my point.
The question, again, was "if you can't tell...". Two wheels, look identical, one is split rim and one is fake. I'd have the fakes at a fraction of the cost because I'm not into the scene and would rather a wheel that's easy to maintain and doesn't have to be...
Benny - as per your edit!
The risk of circular motions, from my experience, is that you work the same areas of the paint more than you would if using a controlled back and forth motion. Greater contact with the paint = more swirls, no matter how careful you are.
Acidic wheel cleaner is great, but lethal. A single, very controlled hit on the bits that need sorting might be a decent shout but you'll need to polish it up afterwards as the acid will dull the finish.
Don't use it as an overall wheel cleaner as it's corrosive.
Maybe try clay before acidic...
Which comes back to the question "if you can't tell...". Decent fakes are fine IMO. The Scene is full of snobs now who think it's cool to spend thousands on wheels for a £500 car. Fine if you want to but nothing wrong with enjoying reps.
