There's better wax and much better shampoo out there. The kit as a whole is pretty good for £45, but if you only need the three items you've mentioned, I'd get online and get better products for a similar total price.
Re: iPhone "must have" apps
If you like Performance VW then check out their app. The magazine downloaded to your phone. This month's issue is free when you buy the app and then each month costs £3 or something and you can subscribe for 6/12 months.
Brilliant use of an app!
Good idea JD, I think that was my intention anyway but worth mentioning that it's what I'm after. I've got the products and knowledge to finish it off, just not for the polishing!
I did have a DA and polishes but couldn't get to grips with it and couldn't make a dent in the VAG paint so flogged...
Why is everyone so far away?!? Lol.
Markie - you're Gloucester right? Two hours could possibly be manageable if you could do it in a day? Thing is, my budget is more aimed towards an enthusiast level of about £100 as opposed to a pro at £300. If you're making a business of it, it might not be...
Any detailers fancy tackling my Bora? She's pretty swirled up... :(
Based in Exeter, have access to an indoor unit nearby, looking for paint correction only.... can pay in cups of tea, bacon sarnies, a cold beer and a bit of cash. :)
Anyone skilled with a rotary that would fancy being...
Oops, just noticed you chose the Sony! I'm sure it'll be ace mate, better than anything you've used before anyway. I've yet to take a decent photo yet!
I bought the D3000 a couple weeks ago and have to admit I love it.
I find the lack of live view a non-issue as I've always preferred taking pictures the 'proper' way. I've only got the kit lens which has AF so I don't know yet if that will be an issue in future.
Pop to a shop and have a play...
Couldn't agree more with JCC - do it whilst you can matey.
I wish I had the inclination to get a car on finance but other priorities exist now. Tempted to get something new / nearly new on some sort of finance this time next year when the benefit of warranty would be good.
I hope you copied the above from your email to me and not the other way round...
Wheels are slick mate - bronze / beige / brown always works well with green. Is the Jap rubbing strip like the US one for the Mk4?
Popped into the Apple store today and the guy said he wouldn't be able to refund my bumper yet as they're waiting for more info. He suggested it would be a completely online process...
Lol, yeah I was being a bit pedantic!
My point being that I'd rather take a handful of books away with me at £4 a pop, say, than a tenner each on my phone.
I know it's a 'ask Apple' kind of question, but would anyone have an idea whether I'd pop into to the store I bought my bumper from for a refund or do it online as a 'bulk' thing?
Would my local Apple "genius'" look at me strange if I rock up tomorrow morning saying "givez me my monies back...."
