Cream wheels will be hit and miss. You'll need other cream detail around the car to tie it all in but have to be very careful of overkill. I saw a dark red Bora last year that had WAY too much beige on the exterior... mirrors, grille, wheels. Looked poor.
I have indeed mate, yesterday. I'm respecting Mark's discretion a bit with regards to 'advertising' but I'm very impressed with what was achieved in such a comparatively short time. I'll let him do any write-up he wants to do if he does...
Will chuck a beading pic up when I get home. Nice and...
I was driving home in the rain and motorway yesterday at around 75-80 and didn't need my wipers!
Can't comment on durability but very cool!
Good to meet you too Mark, yesterday is really appreciated. I'll leave you to put a thread up if you want when you have the pictures... will try and get...
Re: Cnuts with paintball guns
That's shocking. I'd certainly speak to the paintball place because it's one of two scenarios IMO:
1) The people did it with the paintball conpany's equipment on their property. I'd imagine there's a legal accountability there somewhere!
2) The people did it with...
Not an expert but I would say that the dents being pulled out make no difference (although the panel may be a bit weaker and susceptible to pressure?) but areas that have been resprayed are normally thicker than original paint...
I've just starting using DJ SN shampoo and have to admit it's pretty damn good.
3 squirts in a 10 litre bucket and get it nice and foamy with a bit of pressure from the hose.
When using a proxy, obviously it hides the website that you're viewing...
But will the history just show constant visits to said proxy site? Just thinking, my IT department might decide to look into me visiting the same site all the time!
Yeah I had a 'non AC / clinate' Silver Cup. Wasn't sure what they came with.
I'm hoping to pop to the airfield Rob; will only be spectating but be good to see some old faces!
Haha, awesome pic Dan! That's settled the debate with the missus... a baby definitely fits in a Clio fine! We used to be okay transporting my niece on little trips in my 172's but, as said, she loved to kick the back of the seats when her feet reached!
I'm not going to be doing anything until...
I await photo Daniel...
Good advice Lee, will bear it in mind.
I think, given the choice, I'd rather a slightly older Mk5 Golf GTi, but I'm just starting to mull over options of being able to go with a petrol car again! Maybe a 225... :)
As the time approaches when we'll our little bundle of joy arriving (December), my thoughts go to replacing the Bora with something newer... ideally with warranty and the lack of MOT requirement for a year or two.
Also, as the missus will only be working part time, the need for a diesel...
Without going into paragraphs and paragraphs, the best advice I can give is take a step back before buying anything and work out exactly what you need to get started. People often impulse buy when they first get the bug and spend twice what they actually need to on products that don't have a...
What did he decide on?
For me, if it was a daily driver, it would have to be the 200. However, if it were a second car and the missus had something else to ruin on a daily basis, then a Vee. In my road it would get ruined though...
So... I bought a bumper which will now be refunded. This leaves me with a free bumper, right?
However, I've also used the app to order a free case too.
Will both transactions go through?
