Not yet I'm afraid. I will be doing when a certain fat bloke brings his camera round.
On the second graph:
The axis on the left indicates flywheel torque (bottom line)
The axis on the right indicates manifold air pressure (boost - top line)
Cross reference either line with the bottom axis...
If you'd bothered to read the thread instead of being a class 1 grade A c**t, you'd have seen the bit that states I have a set of new number plates already but they aren't going on until the bumper has been re-sprayed.
And regarding the interior, it's my car and I do whatever I like with it...
Here's the current RR graphs as promised.
231.1bhp and just under 210lb/ft torque currently, running at about 0.7 bar boost.
It seems to be holding the boost OK at the moment but Andy wants to change the actuator to improve it further.
Going back down on the 25th of this month to get that done...
Nail --> head.
It's swings and roundabouts IMO.
Either pay less money to get them from Germany, which will take ages to arrive and they'll have a lesser warranty period
Or
Buy from the UK distributor for slightly more money, but get them within a couple of days (or fetch them yourself)...
Did you raise this with K-tec at the time?
In my experience they always do their best to resolve any issues, and if you look through the trader experiences section on this forum you'll see most people say the same. I find it hard to believe they wouldn't have done anything to rectify any...
There aren't many specialists in the Midlands unfortunately.
Off the top of my head I can think of:
BTM Performance (Birmingham)
JAM Sport (Northampton)
Sophos is better for a business environment IMO.
It's a very good piece of AV software on its own but with the Enterprise Management Console it really is very easy to manage your deployments and policies.
The enterprise version of Sophos includes application control. If this is set up correctly...
T1-R's aren't bad in the dry but they're shocking in the wet.
IMO, P Zero Nero's are a far better all-round tyre.
I'm going to try Hankook V12 Evo's next because I've heard Brown Bear and others banging on about them quite a lot. They seem quite cheap, but at the rate I get through tyres I won't...
They've got to be one of the most awesome sounding exhausts going. They do make a difference to performance as well, which is more than can be said for aftermarket exhausts for other cars (i.e; Mk2 Clio's).
I had the Pugsport straight through exhaust, Raceland 4-2-1 manifold (as rare as rocking...
My 106 GTi used to break every 5 minutes and yet I think the most expensive thing to fix was the gearbox (twice) at around 150 quid a time. The Pugsport exhaust wasn't cheap either, but I did buy it brand new.
I need another 106 GTi in my life... preferably supercharged
Mine and John182rs' cars (both on Sportlines)
Mine looks slightly lower though for some reason? (Mine's a 172, his is a 182 with one cup pack IIRC)
I'm getting rid of them soon anyway - got coilovers to fit!
They are a big improvement on standard but I wouldn't bother getting them if you just...
The 182's auto lights can be disabled.
Turn the ignition to the second position and flick the side lights on and off twice in quick succession. You'll hear a beep, which is to tell you they're disabled.
Do the same again to re-enable them.
Wireless Distribution System.
It's basically a wireless network where the AP's act as repeaters. If you're not connected to an AP with a direct connection to an ethernet network for example, your frames get bounced off other AP's until they reach the main AP.
It has its disadvantages though...
Why use a different SSID? That'll prevent seamless switching between AP's.
All you need to do is set up another AP with the same SSID on a different channel. If the network topology is the same, most modern network drivers are able to identify that it's the same network and will switch AP's to...
A couple of pics of the boost controller.
I got a Gizzmo MS-IBC like Steveih's in the end.
These photos have made me realise I really should clean my interior and stop treating it like an ash tray.
LOL. I've actually got a couple of new number plates (the back one is like that as well). Just haven't had time to fit them yet. I'm waiting until the front bumper gets resprayed next month before doing the front one anyway - it's absolutey peppered in stone chips and covered in scratches...
All being well yes. It's just a real shame we ran out of time yesterday.
TBH it's the torque I'm more bothered about. After gaining so much yesterday it's transformed how the car drives. Foot down in any gear, very little lag, comes on boost and BAM... you're off. If you change down before...
UPDATE
I went down to K-Tec yesterday to get the boost controller and de-cat fitted.
Unfortunately due to really bad traffic, two big accidents on the way (and the fact that it's 3½ hours away from my house in the first place) I didn't get there until about 11:50 even though I set off at 6:45...
