lol whenever i drive round there im stuck behind half a dozen cars lol.
personally prefer turning left just after the 40 zone and doing donkeys hollow ;)
b****cks ! 40 quid orange silverline and some decent pads will be fine.
You have to be some kind of idiot to damage the paintowrk imho.
Ive bought one and found it easy to do quite decent correction. The margin for error is larger than folk say and there are plenty of warning signs to look out...
Travelled from Ilkeston today (SAT) into derby and saw a tidy RB 182 + CS sticker parked on the end of a drive.
Then at Costco during the footy game I saw a black 172 near the entrance with non standard wheels and a LY R26 + decals (my next car) bless parked next to me :p
... and really pleased with the results (sorry no pics as completely forgot)
Completely removed all light scratches and hologram effects on the bonnet with ease.
Using the 40 quid silverline orange i bought a few weeks back, 1 4" velcro backing plate + 6" premium componding + polishing heads...
good luck altho i cant imagine the files read with the software being in raw bin / hex format so a normal flash programmer will not support them.
only way to get a 100% accurate restore is by sending the ecu to henk with a copy of the dump !
ouch !
Sounds like a ecu out and reprogrammed by hand job to me !
I'd be wary asking dealership to do it as they would probably mark the car as being v much non warranty in the future.
Whereabout are you as some of the uk tuners would probably be able to get it back running
No you can trawl the net for hours to only realise Mr Hughes is the cheapest and then we will say 'told you so' in a condecending older brother type way :D
I recently did the above before buying a set myself.
lol your garage must be full of shiney stainless :p
Nah not blowing as I had a crawl under there other week.
Just general resonance @ ~3.5k-4k revs on motorway. Normal hooning about @ lower speeds is fine + deffo in tunnels / car parks (poss neighbours disagree)
A few months back ,my oem backbox fell off and I fitted a Magnex 6x4 Oval to it courtesy of Gray for not much.
Bar the physical look of it compared to the oem stealth i was coming to live with it - untill i drove t the motor show this week.
2 Hours burbling down the M1 was enuf for the earlobes...
i belive not. you can convert fat32 -> ntfs with an ms app but not vice versa todo with permissions & security.
as far as im aware, utils such as partition magic just format not convert
rotaries for the men, da for the girls :p
btw if your going for a rotary get they orange bodied silverline not the one in those auctions which is the cheaper one
have a look at the relays behind/under the glovebox in the passenger kickwell as its a common fault restless passengers to dislodge the one which controls the headlights.
