erm post 1 Its usually the seat connector but not always. If youve tried wiggling connectors the correct way is to have the code read which should identify which seat.

Hmm not sure about fuel filter ! Im sure on clio II and beyond its incorporated into the fuel tank and not swappable on its own (as I tried lol). IIRC only ph1 have an in-line one.

rear shocks are 110 quid for renault jobs and do in pairs - takes ~ 10 mins todo yourself each pads all round are easy - depends on what u want - cheapo ones are fine for road use - 30 mins per wheel todo and fairly easy yourself. Front discs are ~100 quid per pair - again easy enuf todo...

iirc renault rear discs come with bearing and work out cheaper than doing seperate.

^ issue is ecu see's brake fluid pressure but dont see pedal activity (as pedal swicth isnt activated yet) so thinks there is aproblem and deactivated abs + possibly esp. often occurs after disc / pad replacement. I found out hard way :s

they usually sell rear axles tbh, is quicker to swap then on most cars than mess about with hubs / bearings. bought a 206 rear axle on ebay while back for 130 iirc, top end being ~ 200

about 1000 is normal tbh for trophy seats bearing in mind they are full leather and fit straight in, ctr / evo ones are fabric and need extra bits

Does anyone know costs involved etc for getting a half suede / leather oem sport seat repaired after the airbag has been deployed ? Obvs needs new airbag + stitching but imagine it cheaper to buy a replacement seat 2nd hand. Also that 'new' replacement from dealer will be silly expensive (~£500?)

yes. 'tuning' refers to altering the various fuelling / timing maps in the ecu. on the basis you save whatever was there originally, whatever you change can be put back to standard by reapplying the backup which you saved originally

there has been a recent majot update to avg which seems to have thrown some teething rpoblems. have a look on thier website for common problesm which usually have a quick fix

im sure the maps are crypted and coded to the vin. technically you could but it depends on the sw / hw redoing this / csums The cheap reader read nps, but expensive ones do all the legwork for you.
