Hmm, not sure what went wrong? I've done engine covers and parts before using aerosols. But I never sanded the basecoat down and as a result the laquer was clear? Dont think i can give any advice other than to try again. PS: Out of interest (Might try this myself) How many coats did they take...
Its not for me, it's for my dad and he'll be doing the same as you ;)
He's got one fecked light, £400 to replace that or £120 for 2 new lights that are cheap to replace in the future, you do the maths ;)
Right, my 1.2 is feeling very lumpy at idle, when pulling away and whilst driving along. I have the feeling that it could be the spark plugs? So have booked it in to have those changed over. But I was just driving down to the gym when the Toxic Fume light started to flash and its flashing...
Well im running an SQ system with the Pioneer 7600mp, genesis profile 4, genesis proflie comps and an Arc Audio 10". HU is powering nothing, the amp does it all. Sounds pretty good to me and not too much bass that the car rattles to bits.
Yep, i thought exactly the same, but you cant tell where the bass is coming from, or the treble and mid! It all sounds very balanced. I havent heard it from the rear seats mind you, but how often do you not drive your car ;)
Mind you the above in comparison with other stuff seems pretty good value, im running that sub with 140wrms and its pretty damn good. The above would be good for Sound Quality rather than massive bass.
Most people dont like the sound of rear fill (speakers), and personally i agree with them, having been in my car with just front comps and the sub it is a very nice set up.
Wiring an amp up isnt too tricky, run the power cable from the battery through the gromet in the passenger footwell, then...
Depends how much you have to spend but
My set up, which is a very common set up is:
Front comps
Head unit powering nothing
Amp powering the front components
Sub (Non active)
Amp powering the sub
I personally didnt want 2 amps so have a 4 channel, 2 for the comps and 2 bridged...
I shall get the Autoglym stuff first, try that. Then the Klasse AIO if it doesnt budge! Is the AIO best worked in straight lines or circular motions?
Thanks
