I like the look of mint mk1s, i mean pristine. But i also like the look of various tastefully modified ones too. Basing this purely on looks as i havent driven a Mk1 i prefer the MK2s shape.

You polish before you wax but should only polish 1-2 times per year. The tech wax is good at hiding hairline scratches so if youre not so confident just use the tech wax after a good wash and clay maybe.

^^ Yes, it works on the other passenger side one but not the middle. I think thats expected due to the middle being a weird one :P

Bonnet has a nice scratch on the edge, but doesnt look out of shape or anything, front panel seems fine so hopefully not too costly indeed!
