The lamp is the bulb, so I guess it would be easy to see if that had blown? Maybe with the starter pack and ballast you could swap them over from the working unit to see which part it is.

Just went to put my standard head unit back in and its asking for a radio code, its not in any of my manuals for the car and I dont have a clue what it would be. (I'm 2nd owner from new). Any suggestions? Can renault 'hack' it? Cheers

I'd go for a cheap honda, spend some £ on susp/brakes and engine. Doesn't matter what it looks like, you wont care if you get a stone chip! And it will rinse a 172! Thats what i'd do anyway... :)

Parking was poor too! Ended up parking in the public car park which was nearer to the show! Food was stale and cold, OJ was rough, and the only celebrities were the moody 'catering' staff who went ape when I went in for a coffee the wrong side :D
