Re: Brought a car then sold the car - How much have you lost?
My Scoob was my worst bought for £9995, spent about £1000 on mods, Blew the clutch and had a prob with the gearbox, bill for £1920
Sold for 7500:dapprove: a loss of nearly £5500 in 18months and thats without the £3000 i must have...
trying to keep the inside standard though really, and after crashing a few years ago and managing to break three ribs even with an airbag, i dont want to loose this one lol. Tempting fate and all that;)
Might just bite the bullet this one lasted 5 years and I certainly wont have the car in...
Yeah mine is going too :dapprove: same place 1-3 o'clock and the right hand thumb grip is worn/ripped. the left hand side of the wheel and the grip looks brand new. Would be good if the club admin could help us with a petition /sticky thread - something should be done.

Turn mine off everytime i get in the car, its the first thing i do, just as important as wearing my seatbelt.
Hate all that electronic wizardry - drive it properly.
Think they charged me something like £620 that was 48k service all belts new backbox fitted and a few other odds and sodds.
May be worth the petrol with prices like that
I think the service and belts was about £530 iirc but would have to check with them
Speak to birchdown about the waterpump too. I was worried about mine but they advised me it didnt need doing. (they havent seen one fail yet iirc)
Also if you get the aux belt done on its own it 'should' be done again when they do the cambelt as your not supposed to re-use once taken off
Same some days i just want to get rid, Im bored of it cant be ars*d with it any more etc, others i love it to pieces. Think i need a change soon though.
