Perhaps you have a lot of wear on components which is causing the movement.
On a previous car of mine my steering was straight. Had the tracking done for piece of mind and after that it drove like a pissed crab.
Took it back to the place and they said it was spot on alignment wise, and later...
The dogbone mount underneath in good condition?
The engine mount at the top can give a lot of movement. I packed mine out with shims and it stopped most movement.
Those sorts of problems usually cause a knock rather than a grating sound though.
I had my alignment done a couple of weeks ago on my Cup, but I wouldn't recommend the place that did it.
Kings, ah, have had some funny experiences there. I use Weston's Renault now, who aren't a great deal better.
I presume you are aware of why the Cup's usually fail the rear brake test?
Yeah can use a maximum of 3 using the tool.
But for Length of value it has to be in the 'formula' box as if I put say between 1 and 10, it would only work if those numbers where entered. As its character length of say 1 character of more, it needs a formula
I have a cell that I need to change colour when a certain amount of characters are entered.
Basically its so when a certain amount of staff initials are entered, it can change colour red, amber, green when there are enough staff to operate.
2 or 3 staff, red
4 or 5 staff, amber
6 and...
I have to keep telling the wife to keep her hands off as she keeps trying to lift the handle the second I press the remote. As above, is about a second or so delay.
I bought a bottle of touch up paint that I had mixed a few weeks ago. I was intending on touching in a couple of nicks on the edge of the door but haven't got round to it yet.
How long is it supposed to last? The bottle has its lid on obv, but wondered whether it starts to go thick and horrible...
Depends on the height of the Ktec's
I had mine silly low and it was alot stiffer than it is now raised up 10mm.
And today a few months on its stiffer than 172 cup standard setup, but not a great deal.
You will see the chassis rail about 6 inches or so back underneath.
Put a bit of wood on your jack if you are using a trolley jack with the metal cup bit and jack it on that.
If they were using cheap crappy bearings I could understand it. Maybe they are using Motrio ones? I would have thought these would still be good quality though.
Can someone who has cable tied it for the MOT, show a picture of which way they tied it for future reference?
My rears have the same stopping power as Tiger Woods' sexual temptation, so would like to see if this makes much difference or if I have issues eleswhere.
