Certainly have come down in price of late.
But if you hold on to one long enough they should hold more value than a 172 of the same age and condition etc.
They will play it back to me when i ring up after receiving the bill. Im just worried they will use something else to get out of it like saying I should have asked or to check the terms online before agreeing the engineer to be sent.
In reality the fault was with my old home phone so the fee...
Have had a couple of faults with my phone and broadband recently, main one being the home hub ringing itself occasionally, and nobody being able to get through on my home phone number.
It got rediculous late last night and I rang BT to ask what was causing it and spoke to a really helpful chap...
All they came back with was a 'rough' wheel bearing which I know about anyway as i'm getting new discs on the rear anyway.
I was expecting a cambelt quote, quote for my exhaust mount etc like listed on some peoples reports already.
There must be more wrong with it surely! I am sure I am due a...
Fair play!
Looks mint.
I am suprised they paid out £3900. Was that an agreed valuation, or what they thought was fair for the market?
When my insurance company ask what its worth I just say 3k :( I presume if you say a low figure to get a cheaper premium, they hold you to that figure as a...
Its up fo 2.5k IIRC. Its on ebay for the second time i've seen recently.
I was interested the first time round when it was ending at around 1300 quid, but not at 2.5k
I remember the car from several years ago, the owner at that time had a couple of R5 Raiders also AFAIK. Not sure if it was...
I have raised my car up enough so that it doesn't scrub which is great, but I am going camping and with the extra weight I can see it rubbing again.
I don't want to bend it unless I have to, but for the record so that I am doing it properly at the side of the road in the event of scrubbage...
See if they put more lube on the catch than they did mine.
I had a drop, an actual drop on the actual catch, and none at all put on the bit it goes into. I could have squeezed more oil from a peanut.
As far as jap cars go for scene tax, these are a cheap buy today.
The fact that they usually spend more time off the road than on is what puts me off.
Always found them a bit rushed and not thought through. The standard brakes are cack also. To me the ones i've driven haven't felt very...
There are tens of Cups for less than 3k with recent belts and average mileage.
11k and standing for several years ins't a pristene engine that will outlive others. It will need the belts as they are several years old and things like the battery could be duff, needs coolant and brake fluid...
3000 for essentially a 1.2 with an RS engine.
Sounds a bit steep. Buy a Cup with higher mileage + service history.
Is it for sale with a fresh service and cambelt? If not you are looking at a monkey for that lot on top of your 3k purchase which will put most people off.
Granted some people...
Though it may be a good idea to have a thread containing prices people have paid to have their tracking/camber aligned as prices seem to vary hugely.
Maybe something along the lines of:
Location: XXXX
Settings carried out: Camber set to standard and tracking front only
Cost: £X
And anything...
Submitted my details.
20 mins later I have a phonecall from my dealership asking me when I want to book it in. Whenever I ring about parts they never get back to me!
