Personally i've got a 300mm OMP wheel in Poly, with the Momo boss as suggested (has the little tab for the steering wheel angle sensor). I've also got a DND Snap-off boss and i've managed to make this work with the Cruise Control adapters people sell on here time to time. My mates reckon i've...
Very doubtful there'd be any internal work, If there was I'm sure at least one of the previous owners would make a point of it! Remaps are usually done after just induction and exhaust as gains can be had in driveability (smoother power delivery, smoother running etc)
I believe the thread is M18x1.5, so something like this would do it;
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mild-Steel-Lambda-Sensor-Blanking-Plug-M18-x-1-5/282876068686?epid=806528015&hash=item41dcba434e:g:EGQAAOSwol5Y3kTR
Obviously that ones only Mild Steel but your key words to search would be 'M18x1.5...
New MOT Rules coming in soon also state that all warning lights have to illuminate and then clear when turning on vehicle ignition so i had heard, no more removing bulbs or black tape :O
Where's this Renault dealer you guys are using round your way? We've got Holden in Norwich but hearing mixed reviews on their knowledge of the sports. Got a few niggly bits i wouldn't mind chucking in to get sorted as they beat me 😂
If only i'd of known mate, I've got the old spacers from the last set of disks i fitted on the rear sat in my door card at all times! Could of popped them down to you easily. Glad it all got sorted in the end though, looks good!
I'm guessing that he wants to use the camber bolts in the bottom strut holes, in conjunction with the slotted top holes, to gain more camber than just the slotted top holes alone?
I Had a similar problem with e rebuilt box where it was stuck in two gears. I Was told this was due to the reverse idler dropping during shipping when i received it so i'm doubtful this is your issue but maybe something to consider
Yeah tell me about it. More annoyingly its just had its second rebuilt box so financially im in it for the long haul. I need to do a followup compression test really but if the figures havent really changed im guessing its maybe valve stem seals?
Still got this problem just to resurrect this thread from the dead! I Did a compression test middle of last year with one of the halfords gauges, read 210PSI but more importantly it was equal across all four.
Im still pretty stumped about this one, although my oil consumption has gone through...
Had one in my 172 since about May, not had any problems with it. Found it was a tad short on install so the fan bolts only just line up but i've had no issues with overheating or anything
Not familiar with that boss but it sounds correct, might just be a case of resetting the angle sensor like you've described, stick some miles on it too. Mine was on after fitting a momo boss but did about 2 miles and the code obviously cleared or something as it disappeared.
I tried to repair...
The traction control light will stay on if you have the incorrect boss. As far as i know the only bosses that have a tab on the back to drive the steering wheel angle sensor are the Momo boss and possibly the Oreca boss too? Other bosses such as eBay Specials or OMP etc dont have this tab on the...
If you definitely want to relocate the horn, easiest way is with a Phase 1 indicator stalk.
Direct Plug and Play OEM Parts, Horn is then a push button on the end of the indicators, a neat solution
Just spotted this backing out of a driveway. Looked like a ph2 but could only see the rear. Not one of the usual 2 I see this way! Reg is pretty cool too!!
Just FYI, they are two completely separate halfs of the business (halfs being the wrong term, there are way more than two parts), run by different managing agencies, different CEO's etc
You might find different providers throttle their traffic differently.
The physical cabling/fibre work won't get any faster (at least between your premises and your closest exchange), but it could go either way depending on how your current ISP handle their traffic and also how Vodafone handle...
If you fitted a filter in the master socket itself, you'd negate the need to have all those filters every time you plug something else in.
If you didn't mind splashing out a little, One of those cordless phone setups with three handsets (where you have a master base that plugs into the phone...
At best they'll stick a new faceplate on the master socket for you, possibly even one that splits the ADSL RJ11 plug like below;
You've got an awful lot of stuff T'd off the master socket there, you running like 3 corded phones or something?
I use this 5w50 from eBay in my motor, Comma 5w50 and at sub £25 i cant complain

Its probably going to be a Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) Installation, where they basically have a DSLAM (Exchange broadband equipment) In a cabinet at the end of your street/cul-de-sac/etc. All they'll do is move the copper pairs from your master socket, from the DSLAM actually situated in the...
