    Ricardos Budget Black Megane 225

I did yes, I picked up the coilovers yesterday and agreed a price on the wheels to be picked up next week.

    Ricardos Budget Black Megane 225

Yeah the Recaros will be up for sale in about a weeks time, as soon as the bucket seat and harness is in place. Like I said the car in the bodywork department definitely needs a little TLC but for what I paid it was worth it

    Ricardos Budget Black Megane 225

Phase one is all about the track based parts, fitting the suspension, setting up the geometry, fitting the seat. I'm ordering a 4 point Sabelt harness this week, I also have a RenaultSport Sabelt steering wheel too. I just need to order the boss so I can fit that. Phase two, we'll see, that...

    Ricardos Budget Black Megane 225

So with the PB sold last July, as ever with all petrolheads we're never too far from thinking about buying something else. In between that I bought a 14 plate Clio for best and have a 1.9dci 130 for work. The itch to buy another hatch was still there. So 3 weeks ago a black Megane 225 came up...

    PDR chap in Essex Area

Thought i'd post it here as it's an area thing. Pretty sure there's a south east club member who's brother does the paintless dent removal. Might have even been to a CSS show offering his services?. @Scrooge @Rob @Evil giraffe wasn't sure if you know the CS member, could point me in the right...

    Rob's Supercharged Trophy

As it happens it's sitting in the boot of my work car.... 37mm diameter
  12. Ricardos

    Rob's Supercharged Trophy

    Correct, internal diameter.

    Rob's Supercharged Trophy

If yours is the K Tec restrictor it's located on the induction side where the air filter runs to the charger. I still have the restrictor and can measure the diameter of the hole if that helps

    Rob's Supercharged Trophy

I believe the restrictor hole diameter was 28mm, I fitted it in the 90 reducer elbow hose between the charger and the FMIC. It was engineered to fit inside the outlet of the FMC outlet and the 90 degree hose. I had 4 made with different diameter holes in case I needed to change them to meet...

    Rob's Supercharged Trophy

Compression test won't take long and is an indicator of how healthy the engine is regardless of whether it's force inducted or not. It'll rule that side of things out straight away. @Cub. what restrictor are you using? Everything I say is all based on when I supercharged my 182, along the way...

    Rob's Supercharged Trophy

Compression test in my opinion, no harm, apologies if it has been done already. There's no reason why you shouldn't be hitting the 250bhp mark with that charger.... Restrictor? What fuel is it mapped on? I remember the conversation I had with Chris at EFI, he pretty much asked me what I was...

    Rob's Supercharged Trophy

I ditched the K Tec restrictor and had custom alloy billet restrictors made to fit in a post supercharger position between the charger and FMIC. Mine was mapped at EFI with Adaptronic and had 266bhp

    Ali's 2003 Clio cup 172.

It's the small items like badges that make the difference, and worth the cost. A splendid example and should be worthy of holding their value

The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

I'm posting this photo here as it won't qualify for pic of the month but just checking that I'm on the right wavelength regarding the depth of field subject. So... Yay or nay, is this depth of field?

That's the one, it was the number 2 setting. Admittedly you can adjust it up or down the scale but left it as it is.

The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

I used a filter (if that's the right word) from the app Snapseed. I wasn't sure if it made it look too 'grainy'
