Got a boot install going in later this week and i was wondering about dynamat and brown bread sound deadening. When i looked at Diamond Geezers car u can tap any panel and it would sound solid due to the dynamat.
Do you need to cover the whole of the panels or can u just put a sheet bout half...
y wot got in urs?
i am goin from experience and i know for a fact that the JBL subs are quality for ther money and the amp i have seen run 2 x 12 " kenwoods and a set of components and i could hardly see it was that bassy. i have spent £250 so far and thats all i intend to spend as i go uni...
im jus thinkin im a tad screwed at the moment. got an amp that needs 3 RCA inputs but i only av 1 RCA output in my HU
ive used a splitter before for a old 4ch amp needin 2 RCAs but never seen one for 3 RCA
Help.....
first off im workin so thats y i aint goin, then Rockport finds a RR which is literally down the road from me and shown us pics of there facilities along with print outs and capaable of holding all the cars on the premises so i would much rather go there.
i personally am not bothered bout a RR...
well when people said that wanted it south-east they meant Essex area within 15 mile radius. I know everyones fussy and that but if u had the choice to drive 2 miles or 50 odd miles which would u choose on ur tight budget?
the point Pete is tryin to make Si is those of us that are part-time such as myself, funds are limited and after forkin out hundreds on a sound system i my budget is limited and would rather not drive 120 miles there and back costin bout £20 in petrol then £25 RR then food and drink £10 so in...
jus used a sealed box.
components in the doors, sub in a sealed box with the amp next to it and if u really wanna keep the 6x9s then stick em in the rear door cards
the problem is that its a good 50 miles from us chelmsford lot and after much effort from night.icon and Rockport weve found a place asbout 2 miles from us in witham
Like i said the i aint buyin it for competitions, i dont have another £3k to spend on it so 3 amps is out the question. i dont have any back seats so i have a huge space to fill hence y i went with the 2x15" approach and the fact i bought these near half price brand new it was a bargain.
As...
bit of both
1. want something to fill the boot
2. something thatll sound half decent and not farty which some subs do
3. give me a near heart attack if i really want it too
ive gone out and bought the 15s and the amp so all will be in within a week or 2
Planning on a install for the boot of the car. I dont va ne back seats so space isnt an issue. My plan was 2x15" subs and a set of components in the back running off a amp or 2.
Ive found 2x15" JBL subs brand new 1000w peak 250wRMS for £75 each and also found a JBL 6ch 1100w peak amp to run...
speakin to Maxpower, PGTI and Revs at the mo. They said they would love to feature it but maxpower said if i can sort out an ICE install it would make a better feature
Just an update on a few rumours if youve heard. I picked up my car saturday day thanks to Clare & John then Clare being the angel she is offered to clean my beast.....
...after a nice clean jus about to give her a nice polish Clare noticed a dodgey milky mark on my door and bonnet. We searched...
the ph1 and ph2 are different
The ph1s are narrow and have a groove down the centre
the ph2s are more bulky and and perfectly smooth and generally better lookin
dont get ya?
to fit it its 4 bolts to undo then put on a new gasket either end or some RED gasket sealant then tighten em up
The flanges will go either way round
