Keep an eye on it - you could have a leak in your rad. Its not normal to loose coolent like that. Ive not touched mine in over a year as the levels stay the same all year round.
Fingers crossed its not your head gasket!!! If your car starts to over heat alot this maybe why.
Hello Russ - nice to see you again m8.
I know people put Evil Ice down as an untrusted company and said some bad things etc.. but i never had any issues ordering from you.
Enjoy your stay fella!
They will fit - hence the Clio 16v kit on the site, its just i cant see it being very effective with all the heat from the engine. Like i say maybe a smaller rad would be needed, allowing a cold air feed coming from the front grill.
interesting!! Kit doesnt look that much of an issue to install yourself. Tho i cant help but think space is going to be somewhat of an issue. The heat from the engine would cause a huge loss in power i would think. The TB would have to face the rad. How would you provide a cool air feed for the...
These pictures were posted here ages ago - ive got them saved at home from almost 2yrs back. I remember Ben R replying to the thread advising how good the driver must have been to control the lift off oversteer round the corners like that.
top stuff.
Sorry to hear that Powelly :(
You could still goto southend - i dont think its major offense to drive without an MOT, ive done it loads of times (bad i know) but if youve forgotten your MOT is due - what are you to do? Police will give you so many days to get it sorted.
On the down side, if...
Can anyone confirm the amount of oil both the F7P & F7R hold please? Ive noticed the Williams requires alot more oil to fill then my 16v did, almost 7ltrs.. is this right?
Mild steel sounds alot louder then stainless steel but doesnt last as long. I would expect to see no more then 4yrs from mild steel. Some one who lives down the road from me has a GTIR pulsar with a mild steel back box, its loud as fcuk. Ok if your into that kind of thing.
I may get round to fitting my de-cat in the next week, can anyone tell me if after having a decat fitted - did they notice any kind of performance increase? Ive got a 2.0ltr williams lump fitted and i hear that the williams responds well to breather mods - not sure how true this is?
Im also...
Its true what Nighticon is saying, but dont loose any sleep about it - its just abit of pipe at the end of the day. No matter who makes it.
I bought mine 2nd hand for £20 - didnt see the point in buying one new. (that reminds me, i better get that fitted one weekend!)
Smokey has one for sale too - try PMing him.
Glenn - think you would be better selling the engine and gbox as one, more appealing to RT owners then, or people with rocket miles on there valvers.
I think your valver has only done 70ish k init?
Its all in the mind if you ask me, i cant see how you can tell with modern day cars when using 95ron or 97?! Ive never really noticed any performance increase between the 2 fuel types.
i cant advise why they dont fit m8 but i can tell you that ive heard bad stuff about those polyurethane bushes... if of course your talking about the powerflex uprated ones? I think it was John (AKA Nighticon) that was saying that the rubbers are so hardly that over time can actually wearout the...
Did you not get any tell-tale signs before hand? Ie slipping etc.. Its not an easy job so would so i would have thought £370 is an idea to what others will be charging. Thats providing you find someone that will do it - garages hate our cars cuz there so hard to work on.
You should have left...
