As far as I know.
That's just off the wheelweights spread Morgan so I can't really comment on the accuracy, just more for reference really.
If you look at the image I attached, it shows the weight. I'd imagine yours should be the same if you've recently bought them from Holland. :)
Yes, both sets of phase one (blue decals) & my set of phase two (embossed) cup series rims all weigh pretty much dead on 7.2kg. As you say they're ET48.5, have a different spoke depth and no ET stampings.
My palmersport/whatever that speedline currently sell with the ET stamping on them...
All of my cup series speedlines weigh pretty much 7.2kg. From memory, my of 'off the shelf' ET43 set weighed pretty much 9.4kg.
For me personally stronger > lighter.
I <3 your posts. They're so ridiculous
Not seeing how having a project thread up on a car forum really helps with illegally 'fronting' an insurance policy.
Hi, this is my Mum's car. Honest.
Am I missing something here? :S
This is a minefield. So if i just drive downhill i shouldnt lose any power & in fact gain 3-5hp?
Would you imagine installing cams from a twingo R.S. would be overkill with this setup?
My bad, i always thought removing the anti-vibration shims from under the seats helped with anti-lift. Massively lowers CoG and helps keep the car much more planted iirc.
I might have to sell my trophy spoiler now. It must be losing me at least 10-12hp.
Best deals are on e-bay i heard.
Would steer clear of adding a trophy/v6 spoiler though. All that extra down force at the back would presumably only add to the OP's woes.
Fair one. Back on topic, sounds like the OP hasn't engaged Extreme mode. Would hazard a guess that could be the culprit. Failing that maybe cheap tyres?
Phase one and two seem to be different lengths. Tried to use a ph1 handle for mine as the cable adjuster is inside the car, but the cables (ph2) were too short. Guessing the Ph1 are longer?
No worries, postage on that was £12 but I had a few other bits aswell-pads were £161.27 incl VAT. Heard the PF97 are decent, but make a bit of a mess. Have a set but not tried them yet as still running the RS14s. Be interesting to see how they compare.
